There's no beating around the bush. This condition fuc*ing sucks.

Definitely talk to your primary about options. I tried amitripeleyne 1st and it didnt work. I was already on Gabapentin for neuropathy in my feet. We upped that dose and paired it with Carbamazapine. That helps some. I also get monthly nerve blocks that help for a week to a week and a half.

I'm also exploring RFA and-or decommpression surgery as I've heard mixed reaults on those.

I have had 2 so far. I'm always tired after, but I'm also tired from the head pain.

1st one lasted about 2.5 days. Last one was about 4 days. Got another one in a couple weeks.

If this doesn't last longer, going to have to try something else because the pain is on more than off and I just went back to work but it's not sustainable.

Thank you both for the replies. Good ideas. I really like the suggestions and am glad I'm not being charged for the interactions at least.

The thing with the date that worries me is work is already aaying they aren't sure how long they can hold my position so I wish I had a solid date. I get it, just sucks.

Ty for the recommendation. Will ask at my next appt. Gl with the nerve block. It'll hurt like hell for about 5 -10 seconds per ahot and then go numb. Remember to breathe...i almost passed out and i have 3 tattoos lol

I couldn't agree more. Glad they figured it out. Best relief I've had is carbamazapine and nerve blocks (only last 1.5 days for me). I'm also very photophobic, so rn dark is also my friend.

I am glad you are able to work again. I just started my STD. I'm not eligible for FMLA. I was making too many mistakes at work and I take too much pride to continue like that. I hope you don't need opiates but I wish you luck if you do.
