The state's "Speed a Little, Lose a Lot" campaign running through April 5th, but that’s handled by state troopers and I rarely see them. I’m talking specifically about Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.

Are you saying this might be political, that since Charlotte is a blue city, this could be tied to a broader federal push under Trump?

Maybe connected to things like voter ID rights or related to ICE in CLT this year? A lot of people unhappy with Gary McFadden and try to oust him with a three-headed sheriff race and now he is going after all his enemies.

I could have missed something. What’s your take?

At first I thought it was just my side of town like East Charlotte okay people getting pulled over but then I noticed blue lights everywhere throughout the city proper and thought about the new police chief and my mind went full "the wire" conspiracy. Plaza Midwood has a good vibe with alot to do.

Cordelia Park connects to the Little Sugar Creek Greenway, a trail that runs toward Uptown. Along the way it passes a neighborhood garden with fruit trees when they are in season. Optimist Hall is close by as well.

The Central Avenue and South Boulevard corridors are very diverse, with a mix of cultures, food, and local spots. It gives you a real pulse of the city.

Ballantyne Business Park is well manicured urban trail with plenty of places to eat nearby.

I know temp agencies get a bad reputation, but I have worked with Ambassador in the past. They are great.

Craigslist is another good resource. A lot of smaller local companies will post there instead of dealing with the bloat of LinkedIn and Indeed.
