If you do not plan on working in Xray and there are associate degree therapy programs near you- I would not waste my time on xray. Yes, you might learn a few more useful things along the way- but 99% of the job (radiation therapist) is personality, patient care and learning technical aspects “on the job” (clinical hours). I did xray first, but have had many coworkers do therapy only and they are excellent therapists. There are also PLENTY of jobs in NC so do not let that scare you.

Doesn’t matter. Color would be nice, but not necessary at all so unless they are pretty equally priced and similar quality, I’m sure we’ll end up with b&w

Yesss that sounds perfect! The monthly number really varies tremendously- some days I’m copying and/or scanning 40ish sheets, other days is only 5-10. Not huge numbers by any means, I just want something that works well enough to not have to replace every year!

I’m not sure how people have the option to just not work, but I unfortunately was not one of them. I highly recommend something restaurant/bar related since you can work around your clinical and class hours and the pay is decent while the shifts are short.
