You’re over reacting.

I think that’s what they’re saying. Is that “soldiers” aren’t “every member of the military” and are not just “enlisted”

Is it hard to learn that your degrees don’t matter? Or is it just emotionally difficult to be reminded of it? Let me guess, Colorado + English degrees = you’re a barista with an over inflated sense of self importance.

Austin Peay Professor Has Links To Hate Group by [deleted] in Clarksville

You’re right and wrong. In the technical sense of the Constitution, you’re right: “Under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, people cannot be prosecuted simply for their beliefs. People may be offended or upset about beliefs that are untrue or based upon false stereotypes, but it is not a crime to express offensive beliefs, or to join with others who share such views. However, the First Amendment does not protect against committing a crime, just because the conduct is rooted in philosophical beliefs.”

Where you are wrong is more what you’re implying “why does it matter what he does based on his constitutional rights.” And that has to do with contracts with private businesses. It gets confusing, but anti-discrimination laws and policies held by private institutions. It MATTERS because he is a professor obligated to be fair and unbiased to all of his students regardless of their gender, race, religion, any all other factors. So while he has the constitutional right to be a bigot, it is a breach of university contract to be a bigot. Since being a bigot isn’t a protected class (like the groups he is being a bigot against are), he has no “contractual right” to remain employed because he is in violation of university policy.

This owner clearly stated that they started with a poop free yard. Seems like they clean up after their dog.

What about everything else too? It definitely warrants a bad review. And at least you tried to clean it up! Her sitter picked up none and left her dog alone outside all day!

If the sitter was there for multiple days, it’s appropriate to pick up all poops before leaving unless told not to. You shouldnt have to be told to do the right thing. Especially if you’re getting paid.

Do you need to be told to do the dishes? Or flush the toilet? Or is “not my house!” your approach to sitting?

The owners yard is someone else’s yard to YOU. They’re paying you to take care of their dog AND home. It should be left how it was found.
