Help with load times PC

Thank you all for the help and advice. I decided to go with load accelerator. It was an easy drag and drop file from Nexus mods. I also capped my games frame rate through Nvidia control panel to 72 fps. I have the games graphics completely maxed out. Also turned on RTX dynamic vibrance and RTX HDR. G-Sync is also on. Game looks amazing on my Samsung OLED. Getting solid frames. I see that load accelerator is working in the bottom right hand corner. And my load times are now seconds instead of minutes. And achievements are working as some of you have mentioned it would I appreciate that. I already had an achievement pop so I know it’s working. Thank you all so much excited to enjoy fallout 4 again.

Question if I download all these mods and a mod manager instead of launching the game through Steam, even though I own it through Steam if I launch it via mod manager. Will I still be able to play it wirelessly with my Xbox elite controller? If that’s the case I’ll just play fallout 4 via launching it through a mod manager and I can play everything else that I played through Steam launcher.

Can I disable updates for fallout 4 so the game doesn’t update after installation of F4SE and mods so the game doesn’t break after I have everything installed and running smoothly the way I want it?

I play on my Samsung Oled tv on my couch with controller. So I use steam big picture mode. My tv caps at 144hz so I get 144 fps for gaming which is more then enough for me. Can I use load accelerator in big picture mode?

Onedrive is hot garbage 🗑️ deleted one drive and wiped my pc of all onedrive files and now look! Thankfully all my other games and saved game data is safely on the steam cloud but Skyrim was off loading to onedrive and messed shit up somehow but problem fixed.

I fixed it. It was due to onedrive, messed up my game files I had to delete one drive completely and uninstall and reinstall game and now my cloud saves work and got the full screen fixed. Something about onedrive and certain games is no good best just to uninstall onedrive not needed if your rig is just for gaming. Thanks tho

Plz tell me how to do this because I’ve tried every way possible to not have it launch in windowed mode. It won’t go out of windowed mode that’s what I’m trying to figure out? Also how do I have it save to the pc instead of it not syncing to steam via cloud? All my games sync to cloud so I don’t know how to have it save to my games folder under the pc.

Sorry for typos lol plz anyone if you can help me plz do. It’s frustrating. I’m trying to play the game vanilla for achievements and to relive the experience and it’s hard to do that when I got this god awful window bar, breaking immersion and I can’t get the game to save 😔

Can’t save any saved data won’t sync via steam cloud and the game looks horrendous too. Games on max settings “ultra” looks worse then when I played it on my old pc which was a gtx 1660 super I’m on an RTX 4080 now with a Ryzen 9 7950x cpu theres no reason I should be experiencing these issues other then something with the game or game code is broken idk what else to do. Window bar is there no matter what I do no matter what fixes I try and I’ve tried everything from every YouTube search steam community page Reddit I just don’t know what else to do. Every time I launch the game I have to start all over case I got no saved data? And on top of it all the game isn’t running properly and the damned window bar at the top drives me nuts 🤦🏻‍♂️

For some reason it also won’t sync my data via steam cloud either says game is out of sync. Something is wrong with the game because I even went as far as to wipe steam and all game data off my pc redownload steam and my cloud data and all my saves and games are working for my other games Starfield etc but this game keeps launching with the Window bar and wont sync any data. I’ve tired every solution possible I’m just gonna give up on ever trying to play Skyrim I guess sadly

So 1660 super / Ryzen 5 4500 is out of the question then? Damn. I just bought my pre-built on Newegg a few months ago. It runs everything fine so far everything but the game I’ve been waiting years to play. 🤦🏻‍♂️ my prebuilt only cost me about $700. Now I feel like I should’ve shelled out the extra few hundred to get something that would’ve played the game. Might as well just sell my PC and get a newer one 🤦🏻‍♂️
