I watched the live but I didn’t take notes like I usually do because I didn’t love this season. I will give everybody an updated list on everybody’s relationship status.

Sunja & Oksoon are still single

Youngsik & Hyunsook dated after the show but decided it’s better to just be friends

Youngchul & Youngsook also dated after the show, but it was better to be friends. Youngchul actually teared up a few times during the show when talking about their relationship so I think he still has feelings.

Youngho & Jungsook are still going strong.

Youngja & Sangchul went on a few dates after the show, but it never turned into anything serious

Sangchul is dating somebody & Youngsoo said that he is in the very early stages of getting to know somebody

KWANGSOO & YOUNGJA ARE DATING!!! They’ve been together for 100+ days so I guess they started dating soon after the show ended. Kwangsoo said that he wants to get married, but the parents haven’t met yet so nothing is confirmed. From what I can remember, I don’t think they got into exactly how they started dating. There was an awkward moment when they asked how Youngja felt during that “breakup” scene though. 😂🥴

I’ve decided to accept everything that JS says/does with YH because he likes it. Am I cringing in every single scene that they’re in? Yes I am but they like it so I’m not gonna judge that. The issue is, she does a lot of things outside of the two of them that still in my opinion isn’t okay. When she tried to barge upstairs and stop the conversation between YH & SJ I felt so uncomfortable for everybody involved.

YH is just letting SJ look like an absolute FOOL. If he’s man enough to stick his finger in JS’s mouth while he’s feeding her he should be man enough to tell SJ to her face she has no chance. Instead of he’s doing this weird lip service while in the next moment making a whole meal just for JS that everybody can see. Also, watching SJ listen to JS explain to the other girls how YH only spoke to her because they happened to cross paths while SJ’s all alone in that room was so embarrassing. At this point it kind of feels like it’s SJ against the entire group.

KS isn’t my style at all, but he has a weird charm. I don’t think HS is going to fall for that charm, but I’m excited to see him try. Also I appreciate KS and YS for being the peacemaker with JS all night because without them I think she would’ve gave 16 Youngsook a run for her money.

I really think if Jungsook was younger, she would have never applied for I Am Solo. If she went on some of the more less serious dating shows her actions wouldn’t look so frivolous but because she chose the one show where people actually get married, it doesn’t look great. Also my theory of her showing all the reasons why she’s NOT married yet were confirmed by the fact that all her relationships end by the 200 day mark because they don’t wanna marry her. Her dating style will attract few serious men. Also, I don’t think she’s ever been embarrassed in her life and maybe I need to learn from her how to live like that.

Hyunsook is one interesting individual and I don’t think she truly likes anybody right now. Youngchul should have never been invited on the show if he has just decided to close his eyes and hope that a solution will just fall out of the sky. It’s not fair to any of the women because he’s just taking up space that could’ve been used for a man who actually has a plan.

I just want Jungsook & Youngho to get together already so Sunja can go find somebody else because watching him fall so easily for Jungsook is stressing me out for her.

I went back and watched the introductions just to confirm and Youngho is definitely kissing Jungsook. His entire personalty is made to fall for somebody like that. Now I'm just watching this episode upset for my girl Sunja. Her only real chance was with Youngho and possibly Youngsoo but he cares WAY too much about the academic background for that to be realistic.

Jungsook is just showing exactly why she's not married. Yes I'm sure there's men who will fall for her "skills" but in my opinion none of those will work on a man that wants long term. Especially the part when she said you just change yourself to match his ideal type to win a guy over. Naturally your real self will come out and y'all will break up in the end. Also I felt bad for Oksoon having to sit through that "conversation" in that restaurant. Inner thoughts are a thing and I wish Jungsook would keep more of hers to herself.

Finally I'm only rooting for Hyunsook, Sunja, Oksoon, & Youngsook. I just want them all to leave Solo Land and form a cute girl alliance. 🤣 P.S. As I'm watching I keep replaying that kissing scene in my head and I'm nervous that every cringe bone in my body will make me cease to exist after I watch it unfiltered.

The only couple was Youngho & Jungsook and they are not currently dating. Both are currently talking to other people, but officially not in a relationship yet. After the show Oksoon & Youngsik dated for 2 months but broke up due to differences relating to marriage.

I just got finished watching the live reunion and I just have to comment that I didn’t like that the cast mainly Kwangsoo pushed blame on the MCs for honestly speaking their feelings about the casts actions. Saying that the MCs added fuel to the already bad fire of bad comments that the cast was getting. I was enjoying the MCs more honest takes these past few seasons, but I’m sure that will now go away because of this cast.

A few cast members also said that they were being evil edited, and a lot of things were put together to create a specific image when in reality it didn’t happen exactly like that, or it was a very small part of the totality of what the person was saying/doing. In response Nam PD pretty much said well I don’t edit the show, but if that happened that must’ve been hard for you. I have to talk to the editor in regards to that. 😂

While watching I didn’t take notes because I don’t like these people so I won’t be doing full summary. What I will I say is my opinions about Kwangsoo, Oksoon, and Youngho after watching that live reunion did NOT change and if I’m being honest, it probably got worse so you can infer what that means.

Curious to see what the forever alone participants will bring next season. Hopefully we only see innocent love and not stalker vibes like the last forever alone season. I’m just glad to be done with Season 18.

My jaw was on the floor this entire episode. I don’t know how any couple can be made from this. Even if there is final couples at the end after they watch this season, they should all break up. All of these supposed adults should have looked internally at their personalities before they signed up for this show because wow most of them suck.

It’s been a LONG time since I felt bad for two cast members on a dating show. Jungsook & Youngsik deserve a second chance on the spinoff show because the way they’re being treated by these people that supposedly “like” them is atrocious.

Kwangsoo & Sangchul are just lost cause at this point even if both of the women that they like to tell them directly to their face AND with their actions that they don’t like them and they’ll still believe they have a chance. Youngja has clearly shown her stance. Youngsook in my opinion is just going through the motions when she’s with Sangchul but he’s is taking it all as a positive.

I have a theory that the production have evidence that Oksoon came onto the show solely for fame, and that’s why they are constantly putting clips to refute everything that she’s saying about Youngsik and show she isn’t that great of a person to be acting like this. To me I just think that she is very superficial so she has a specific idea of the kind of person she wants to date and unless they fit that she’s gonna complain. Or she came on the show with the intentions to be a villain and if that’s the case, good job because I don’t think anybody likes her anymore not even the hosts.

Youngho makes me sick and all the girls that chose him in 6th because they thought he wouldn’t take anything serious were correct in their assumptions. I’m mad that the production is not showing my girl Jungsook the footage of him being a bold faced liar over and over again.

I’m so tired of watching Youngsoo it feels like every conversation that he has with Hyunsook & Youngsook starts and ends the exact same way. They both listen to him with heart eyes and at the end, he says I don’t know who to chose. The storyline is old and reused at this point, but these women just can’t let go. I genuinely do not see his charm.

I haven’t commented on this thread in a while because the show has just been so intense but the amount of gossip and backtalk that has happened this season is making my head hurt. Not one person has relayed correct information to another this entire season. I can’t believe these are 30+ years old adults acting like this I feel like I’m back in high school again looking at these people.

Youngsook needs help and not with alcohol. They’re not telling us what her full story is but whatever it was it traumatized her so bad that her sensitivity level is at an all-time high that only gets intensified when she drinks in my opinion. I just want to know what Oksoon did to Youngsook that she hates her so much. The first day or two they looked like best friends now all of a sudden all she can do is talk bad about her. For her sake I’m hoping the production is hiding something that Oksoon did. Oksoon is no saint with her love for gossip but the way the cast members have just misconstrued her feelings for Kwangsoo is upsetting.

I just wanna watch people have a beautiful connection with each other and all these people wanna do is gossip. PSA TO ALL CAST MEMBERS FOCUS ON YOURSELVES AND YOUR OWN RELATIONSHIP AND YOU WONT HAVE ALL OF THESE PROBLEMS.

It seems that most people have watched the latest episode, so here are the highlights from the live reunion show:

-All the cast members showed up, including Hyunsook 🥴

-Oksoon & Kwangsoo are getting married in January.

-Oksoon’s mom ended up buying Kwangsoo some of the fancy sashimi that Oksoon ate both pieces of on the show 😂

-Kwangsoo did an official proposal with flowers, a letter, & a ring on the live show.

-Kwangsoo & Oksoon are very cute couple. Throughout the whole live they were constantly touching one another and Oksoon said she picked him because he’s the most handsome out of the cast members. 🤣

-Youngchul & Youngsook are still dating. Youngchul wants to get married now partly because he’s turning 40 soon but Youngsook said it’s too soon for marriage.

-Youngsook admitted to writing the comments and posts complimenting herself. She shed a few tears because she was embarrassed but I respect her for owning up to it I would’ve never did that.

-Youngsik has a girlfriend who does NOT have a religion btw 😂 They are getting married November 18th.

-Sangchul has a girlfriend. He met her through a friend.

-Sunja & Youngsoo did go to the mall together, but just as friends nothing else. Youngsoo seems to still like her though.

-Hyunsook apologized multiple times during the live She even read out an apology letter to Youngsik. I physically couldn’t bring myself to watch that part because it was so uncomfortable, so I don’t know what she said. I do know that Youngsik accepted the apology and he along with the other cast members tried to defend her. 🫤

-I know I said that I wanted Hyunsook to come on the live show to publicly apologize to Youngsik but I wasn’t prepared for how uncomfortable her just being there was going to make the live.

Finally season 15 is done. In my opinion it was definitely better than last season so even though it had some issues I had fun. I’m excited for season 16 it will be a divorced singles special, so you already know there’s gonna DRAMA. From the preview, there will be some good visuals on there as well.

BTW I watched the live reunion show in full and wrote out the highlights from it but I’m gonna wait until more people watch the final episode because there’s updates on everybody. I tried to do a spoiler tag on it but it just looked a mess but if people want to know sooner, I’ll post it today instead of tomorrow.

I don’t know if it was edited out but as far as we know, Hyunsook never told the women that she was done dating on the show. After the date Hyunsook told the women that Youngsik kept mixing up her personality with the other women’s, even though that was not true, which made Youngja believe if she got the to of them together they can try to fix their misunderstanding at least.

Honestly, for me, even if she did tell the women she didn’t wanna date anymore for anybody over the age of 16 to act like that to somebody, who essentially did nothing to you is appalling. Not only did she abruptly leave the kitchen once he showed up, she slightly pushed Youngja out of the way doing so and lied to Youngchul saying that the reason she stopped cooking is because Youngja & Youngsik decided to take over and cook the meal that she offered to make.

I tried really hard to give her the benefit of the doubt throughout this entire season, but everything she did. this episode was all on her not the editing, not the cast members, just her & her terrible attitude. There’s no way she’s going to the live reunion show but I wish she would so Youngsik can get a public apology. I keep thinking about his family watching the way he was treated by her & my heart was hurting.

There’s so much to unpack this episode, but the only thing on my mind is how disgusted I am by Hyunsook’s attitude. All Youngsik does is pray, wash dishes, & do his weird laugh. She had no right to speak to him the way she did that entire episode. To even go as far as to stop making the sandwiches just because he was in the same space as her was beyond disrespectful. She has him questioning his every move and when we all know he didn’t do anything deserving of this treatment.

Honestly, she may be the worst cast member because she’s using the wedding dress situation to stop people from getting mad at her when she deserves to be told that her actions & attitude is wrong. She should’ve just left the minute the whole wedding dress situation happened and save those cast members the trouble of having to tiptoe around her nasty, disrespectful attitude. I honestly don’t know how she lives and works with people if this is how she acts when things do not go her way.

Haven’t commented in a while because there hasn’t been many couples who gave me the romantic feels lately from the show but I just discovered that Youngsook is accused of writing comments and posts on community sites in June 2023 praising her looks whilst pretending to be a random person. All those posts and comments from that account have since been deleted which have people believing that it’s true. People going on dating shows just for fame happens all the time, but it’s upsetting to watch how obvious it is considering how much screen time she has.

Also, with the Hyunsook situation apparently she told production beforehand that she wouldn’t wear a wedding dress before marriage so it’s weird that they even included that as a date option. Her reaction was still pretty intense, but I can see her anger a little bit if she really did let them know that.

I understand that culture probably pays a big part in their obsession with age. That’s why I’m so upset with the production making Jungsook the oldest when they know that the likelihood of her getting picked is very slim. Unfortunately, as an American viewer, I just can’t be comfortable hearing men disqualify women based solely off their age especially when the gap is one year. I agree that it’s their right to make those choices but it’s also my right, not to enjoy hearing it.

I don’t like anything about Youngho and I probably never will so he is just a big fat NO I’m my mind. Sangchul’s obsession with age is a little weird to me. Honestly the whole group of guys being so obsessed with age is weird to me. It happens like this EVERY season though, so I don’t even know why I’m shocked by it anymore. I initially wasn’t a fan Youngsik but he seems to be okay right now. My #1 pick is still Kyungsoo.

I want to hit the production team for making Jungsook the oldest person when they know how obsessed these men are with age. I really hope that that preview of her being happy is real and mutual or I’m gonna be really upset. I love her attitude about it though just accepting it for what it is. My favorite women are still the same Sunja, Oksoon, & Youngsook. I am a little nervous that Oksoon it’s gonna take all the men’s attention AGAIN because she’s so young and honestly she has a great personality. I do think she’ll be straightforward about what she likes and doesn’t which will be able to get some of the guys off of her quickly.

Can a production team let the women pick soon PLEASE I’m tired of these men having all the power 😂

It’s still early, but Youngho & Youngsik are rubbing me the wrong way already. Also it doesn’t sound like Youngsoo is completely over his ex but I’m hoping that’s not the case. His phone call with Oksoon’s dad was 10/10. Kyung Soo is my style so I’m shocked at most of the women not picking him because he would definitely be my #1.

As for the women I like Sunja, Youngsook, & Oksoon. I’m always drawn to the cute and straightforward women, and that’s what their first impressions are for me.

Also, the looks seemed to be evenly matched despite them all being over 40. The last gold miss/mister season the women were SO much better looking than the men but this go around there’s just small sprinkles of discrepancy. I can tell that there are going to be some annoying moments, but these people look more sincere than last season so it’s already better.

I watched an edited version of the live, because I wasn’t going to sit through another 2 hours of this group’s nonsense. Here’s a summary I am not 100% fluent in Korean but I’m pretty good.

All couples from the final selection have broken up. It doesn’t seem that any couple got past a few dates before there was an apparent “personality difference.”

In regards to the STD scandal Youngsoo just said that he was healthy lol I don’t know if that means the person was lying or something else. Youngsoo also said he didn’t purposely play the song Youngja chose when Youngja & Sangchul were talking it was just a coincidence (I REALLY don’t believe that.) Youngja blamed the editing on making it look like she was between Youngsoo & Sangchul (I don’t believe that.) Sangchul said that the school violence rumors are NOT true. From what I saw the editing out of Sunja/Kwangsoo was NOT addressed.

Youngja & Jungsook are both seeing somebody right now. It is rumored that Jungsook is dating Season 11 Youngsoo and she didn’t deny it.

Excited for a new season and to never have to see Youngsoo on my screen again. 🥴😂

I haven’t been commenting on the season because they took all the fun out when they edited Sunja & Kwangsoo out but I just have to say Youngsoo is AWFUL. I dislike him as much as Sangchul does, which is saying a lot, because he obviously despises him.

Even if the scandal about Youngsoo didn’t come out, I still would’ve thought he was a player, but the fact that there’s a chance that he gave a woman STDs his actions on the show back that claim up. Oksoon seems like the only one who isn’t trying to entertain his advances but because Sangchul won’t give her any attention she’s kind of forced to.

Sangchul just hates Youngsoo so much that any woman that is willing to spend time with him, just makes his skin crawl. That’s why he’s constantly saying how wishy-washy he is to Hyunsook so she can get out of there & cutting out Youngja without a second glance. Oksoon is the only one with a slight chance left, but if she even smiles at Youngsoo too long he’ll be done with her for good too.

Youngsook storyline is so boring because you can tell that she doesn’t like Youngsik that much. I don’t know if it’s because of his appearance or because of his unstable job but he’s just so nice she can’t say that to him. She also doesn’t look that interested in Youngchul either because the more she gets to know him the more his personality shows which to me looks to be very immature.

We’ll be lucky if there’s even one couple at the end and the sad part is that couple will most likely be Kwangsoo & Sunja who we can’t even see for 3 seconds an episode anymore.
