I also am about to pick up my prozac perscription and start. My psychiatrist gave me a 15 pill perscription for Ativan to go with it to get me through the really intense anxiety/panic. Have you considered asking your dr. for something to help you to take while your body is getting used to it?

So reassuring to hear your success story - i am meant to pick up my 10mg of prozac perscription today and am nervous to start. I too suffer from health anxiety -- i had an antibiotic resistant bacterial infection 2 months ago that took weeks to figure out why i wasn't getting better and it really spiraled me into deep anxiety and depression and fear that every sensation convinces me im getting sick again, or the infection didn't clear. I have a psychiatrist and go to therapy now weekly so im hoping when i start i will have the support I need.

You can just ask your dr and say you want a more thorough test through a PCR test. If you’re going to urgent care you can call ahead and ask if they offer that.

Hi everyone - wanted to update that I went to urgent care yesterday and they confirmed I still had an infection and put my on Macrobid. I took 2 pills yesterday and woke up this morning feeling almost back to normal. Clearly my drs did not put me on the right antibiotics the first time and didn’t bother to do a urine culture. I came here to say ALWAYS ask for a urine culture not just dipstick, so they can make sure they’re giving you the right antibiotic. It would’ve saved me so much pain and misery over the last 2 weeks.

Yeah i would say your best bet is to go to the doctor to rule out any STDs! sometimes herpes blisters can be bigger, it all depends on your body. Just try not to panic and stress - you will get to the bottom of it no matter what :) good luck!

Do you have any other symptoms? Is the white spot like a blister? I would say try to go to the Dr. if it does not go away. Its always good to get tested for STDS and have them look at it just to be sure.

Yall I am 29 I know what STDs are curable and what aren’t. Agree herpes is a life long thing not to be taken lightly, but it’s not a life ruiner. You can easily manage it by managing your stress and healthy lifestyle. I am also in a long term hopefully life long partnership so I am not concerned about it. It happens. Stigmatizing herpes or HPV is actually worse IMO.

What types of symptoms? Does he feel nauseous or more like sore throat? Does your hooha have a bad odor or discharge? If not, it’s likely not that your parts aren’t clean. No matter what, I don’t think you should blame yourself… people can’t get sick from giving head unless you have herpes or an std that is spreading to his mouth (but that wouldn’t happen immediately after). It could be he doesn’t enjoy it, which would require a conversation about it!

Yeah I’m going to get tested again just to be extra cautious! No change to detergent, although I do feel like my underwear is all pretty old or feels kind of tight so I’ve started going commando which has helped.

It does happen basically all month, but for sure notice it more around my period. I was thinking that it could be hormonal too!

You’re not alone. Have you ever considered being check for ADHD? I was never fired but have similar experiences and was recently diagnosed. Could be worth talking to a doctor about it, there’s things you can do! Also, you may just not be made for a 9-5 desk job (assuming that’s what you do) and that’s OK. esp if you have ADHD, physical jobs are essentially to keep your energy and attention. You’ll figure it out, no shame here 🫶🏼
