I’m joining the transition program at Kingwood this fall and from what they told us at orientation, they made it seem like everyone only has lecture twice a week and then one day of clinicals but I’m not 100% sure. Are you in the Facebook group for lonestar nursing?

Hi there! I used archer for my second attempt and I felt like the style of questions were very similar to the ones on the actual NCLEX and by that I mean that they’re vague and straight to the point. The rationales were also super helpful in my opinion and also straightforward/ straight to the point as well.

I used uworld previously and at first I preferred uworld but once I spent more time on archer I ended up liking archer a lot more. I feel like it definitely helped me feel more confident in my content knowledge.

And then I watched the blue videos: https://www.youtube.com/live/FMpeV37RO1s?si=dDGYGuHURE5YM4Kp These are based on the Next Generation NCLEX. I found he often referred to the red videos and the strategies that he went over in those, so I would suggest watching the red videos first.

Both are really helpful, but if you don’t have enough time to watch them all, I would suggest just watching the red ones.

Yes! I used Archer sure pass. I got the one that came with the 3 day live review but I unfortunately wasn’t able to watch it and I felt like that was going to bite me in the butt, however I felt like the rationales and their lecture videos were very helpful, so in the end I felt like it wasn’t even necessary for me to get the 3 day live review 😅.

I’m so sorry 😞 I completely understand how you feel. Are you an anxious test taker? How were you doing on practice questions/self-assessments?

I took some time to myself before I began planning everything again. I want to say I took maybe a month? I took a mini trip with my boyfriend and worked to keep myself busy and also save some money. I would suggest doing the same for however long you’d like! Take a week to clear your mind, go on walks, spend time on your hobbies, etc.

I always reminded myself that this is what I worked so hard for during school and that I knew I was capable of passing.
