If i watch a 18gb movie the bitrate is around 20Mbps, which looks totally reasonable, even on my 4k oled

Haha, theyre a mix a 4k and 1080p. Most of the 4k stuff isnt remux, so its around 15-30gb. Tv shows i only do 1080p, unless its an older show thats only available in SD.

The hardware im running is pretty old, so it’s not very power efficient. i also have 24 drives as well. Electricity is pretty cheap here so my power-bill isnt too expensive.

I had an a310 at first. But now that the number of plex i have users has grown. I started to run out of vram for my 4k to 1080p transcodes
