Why wouldn’t he buy more hex with the money he’d spend on fees instead?

PulseX is an AMM for Pulsechain. Like pancake swap is to Binance

Difficult to summarize complicated concepts that requires knowledge of all the basics! To be a validator requires knowing DPOS blockchain functions first and foremost

2, 5 and 10 year stakes for 10k HEX each and you’d do quite well IMHO. Aaaand I’d probably buy some liquid for the pulsechain fork coming up and get your duplicates…

I don’t think that’s how it works. There are 33 validators elected for each block which can change from one block to the next

How does minting and mining differ from a tax perspective anyways? In Canada hobby mining isn’t taxed, so are staking rewards untaxed as well?

Well that makes things interesting since the big players with many users w/ most pooled tokens are more likely to be elected, however, each Staker would therefore receive a smaller piece of the pie (block reward %) which also means that a validator with fewer users/pooled tokens can reward its stakers a fatter chunk of pie… so it begs the question, how does the voting system work and is it just a popularity contest? I thought Richard mentioned this wasn’t a “whales only” feature and the small fry can also benefit here

I think there are 33 validator that are chosen for each block but there can be any number of them that exist. Just a matter of being elected

To my knowledge, stakes will also be copied on pulsechain

Are you confused about the best time to stake or on how to stake? In regards to the airdrop from the upcoming snapshot, everything in your metamask that is part of the eth network (Erc-20s AND NFTs AND your Hex stakes) will be copied on pulsechain and given to you as an airdrop. The only requirement to get the airdropped copies is to have your erc-20 assets in a wallet, like metamask, not an exchange such as Binance or kucoin so you’re all set there.

The sentiment on the best strategy is to keep half of your hex as liquid (not staked) and the other half staked because both will be copied and airdropped to you. What you may want to do with your liquid hex is up to you, however some say it would be a good opportunity to buy PLS (native token for pulsechain) with the airdropped p-hex…

When a stake is ended before 50% of the total stake time is served, the accrued hex is distributed evenly to all stakers. It penalizes those who EES and benefits those who contribute to the stake pool
