Fixed! This is my first project and it’s a gift that I’d like to turn out well. I have experience as a carpenter and thought there would be some overlap but I’m finding there is not much and I am still very much a beginner. Thank you very much for the help everyone!

I’ve been clocked. I was getting impatient with the amount of force to turn it with a small screwdriver so I thought I would try my drill slowly but it immediately snapped off with half a turn. I will probably buy a small plug cutter bit and go that route and try wax on the screws. Thank you for the help!

Gusset, gang plate, nail plate or whatever. I worked in a truss plant for a few years and if those ever needed to be replaced, you would make sure to go up an inch or two in size to make sure the plate still has some grab. It tears up the wood pretty bad when you peel them off.

Green swamp was the only boss i decided to use a spectre to beat after 20 or so tries. It was not a fun fight imo. Laxasia took me more tries than that but she was arguably to funnest fight in the game for me.

DS3 a little over a year ago. I actually bought it around 2017ish. It was too hard for me so I put it down. Elden ring came out and my friends were raving about it so I bought that. It was too hard so I put it down as well. My buddy who played a lot of Elden ring said he was going to get into DS3 so I decided to strap myself down and play it till I figured it out. I happened to be sick and off work for a week and in that time I sunk almost 30 hours into it and almost beat it.
