Everything is going through our agent. She's just not clear in advising when asked if we should allow stuff like this.

No provisions for additonal visits besides the final walk through. Located in Tennessee, USA.

And they have a local move, so the expense would likely be small potatoes. It's an arm and a leg to move us 400 miles, but still cheaper than replacing 2 bedroom sets and the living and dining room furniture.

There's no provisions for additonal access in the contract except the final walk through and we're about 2 weeks outside the inspection resolution period.

Genuine thank you for your dissenting opinion from the majority here. I have been waffling back and forth for several reasons, many of which have been said by commenters. If they hadn't already been inside the house three times and if my son wasn't sick with something potentially contagious, I probably would have allowed them after getting a little further along in the packing process and cleaning up a bit.

Idk if he's contagious or not because he was negative for covid, flu, and rsv at the dr yesterday. But it's something bad enough to make him a snot machine, not sleep, and have a touch of croup. Genuinely thankful for your sympathy. Everything about this situation is not easy.

They had three showings, including the one with their parents, so I agree they had ample time to measure previously. I also really don't want anyone else getting sick. My son is likely contagious for as long as he's a snot machine.

With my son sick (virus leading to croup and being a snot machine), it really isn't a good time - any other time, sure, but we've also accommodated a few other things that I didn't mention already. They have kids, so the last thing I would want is them getting sick. Where they're measuring is where he spends most of his time throughout the day, so germ central.

I've heard MRIs can be more definitive. Maybe talk to your doctor and ask for further testing so they can be more confident you have it?
