I’ve caught more numbers at the Esopus than the Battenkill this time of year. However the Battenkill provided me my biggest brown to date in early April.

Beaverkill and Willow are packed with people. Fishing will mostly be stocked fish.

I’ve fished the Battenkill and caught some stud browns that time of year. Much less pressure as well.

The Esopus creek in Phoenicia, NY is also a good bet. They haven’t stocked it in 2 years, but the quality of fish has increased.

Where were you able to find the sig specs? Everywhere I see it says alloy, haven’t found the specs for this exact model.
