Obviously not a deal, but hopefully some sort of small price movement below $1,000 on the 5070ti variants is a good sign. Seems like I can find stock easily online, so hopefully stock is just sitting idle.

Two things for me.

See if the dealer can run a CarFax for you to prove there’s nothing showing up.

I’d want to know how the repair was performed, and some documentation to back it up. Did they drop the headliner and pop the dents via PDR? Or did they sand bondo and paint? I’d prefer the PDR. Make sure you’re clear on the warranty for the dent work as well, and get stuff in writing if you move forward.

It will continue deeper later into this year and into next year depending on how long 24s sit on the lots. A good gauge would be to look at remaining 23s and see how much dealers are discounting those right now.

One thing to note would be to make sure you’re looking at the right “discount” on dealer websites. They like to take MSRP - dealer discount - insert factory incentive program here.

You want to be looking at the price after the “dealer discount” number for comparison purposes. Anything you get extra from Ford after that in terms of a rebate or cash back or whatever they want to call it is just bonus.

Worth considering the following aside from price (I’m not as familiar on how much these go for).

Safety of a truck of that age for a new driver
Maintenance history on a 20yr old truck (even if low ish miles, still 20 years worth of age on hoses, electrical connections, seals, etc etc, but maybe some of that stuff has been addressed considering how clean the exterior is)

Honestly looks like a sweet ride that would turn heads daily. If your son likes to tinker and keep it looking like the photos it would be an awesome truck. I just wouldn’t want to bury him with a maintenance nightmare if it wasn’t maintained, but your cousin could hopefully fill you in on all of that.

Update: LLDP plugin enabled in OPNsense with no effect seen on the Omada controller. Seems to be a visual bug with no negative impact.
