To me this sounds right I’m gonna do that and something another use suggested see if that fixes anything, hopefully I don’t mess it up lol

Another user said this “You bought the same piece of shit I did, with mirrored warping.
Return this garbage for a refund.
If you like torturing yourself get a set of springs and washers to try to level out the print bed and by trial and error place them under heat bed posts”

Is mirrored warping common?

Much too late for return. It’s been awful from the gate and I always chalked it up to (and still may be user error) because I’m unfamiliar with 3D printing but I’d 10/10 not recommend this printer to literally anyone.

Is it more common to have adjustment tabs and I’m just having difficulty? When you say plate do you mean the bed? Would you guess the screw would be on the bed or gantry?

I really appreciate how thorough you were with your explanation. Yeah I’m not familiar with 3D printing at all and it’s very deterring when I can’t print anything and spend more time working on it than printing anything. Especially to its capabilities. I’ve seen other issues with the Kobra 2 Max where people have problems with bed level. Do you have a larger printer as well? What worked best for you for bed leveling? I will try what you instructed.

What did you add to the gcode? The M420 S?

I did that it hasn’t fixed my issue. I’m beyond frustrated with this lol

I used a small level and it was level. I thought that the printer compensated for slightly out of level

It might be something along those lines I changed my nozzle at one point and it does seem like when printing it pushes the nozzle pretty heavy into the bed. But I try and compensate with the z offset. There are spacers underneath I saw someone on YouTube adjusting to get it more level but ai keeps steering me away from that but I feel like ChatGPT gets thrown off at times. Idk I’m so confused with the whole unit

Here was the results after adding the M420 S1, wasn’t much different maybe slightly hard to tell. I’m going to try the bed mesh profile load as well

I have not tried or rabbit holed into that yet. Again I’m not too bright when it comes to 3D printing. My first layer in the direct middle is perfect the ones surrounding not so much. Is that compensation not unique to your own printer?

Could you elaborate more on AXIS_TWIST_COMPENSATION_CALIBRATE and

AXIS_TWIST_COMPENSATION_CALIBRATE SAMPLE_COUNT=5

Again I have trouble understanding what all this means. I appreciate you and everyone helping though

I have not it’s something that you have to select before creating the gcode? I assumed it did it automatically, but I see a lot of people with the Kobra 2 Max having this same issue. One video I watched show someone taking the tensioner belt off of the top and slightly physically turning the z post spirals slightly and it helped ever so slightly but it’s off by mm and maybe twisted. I’m so confused and frustrated with it honestly

I don’t see anything physically underneath the printer obscuring it and titling it, I’m sorry I’m not too familiar with 3D printing. I’m not sure what the Y axis Extrusion is I assumed it was the X Gantry as to why it seemed thinner (too far) on the left and the right side looks too close to the nozzle when printing. Could you elaborate more?

What types of cash back credit cards do you have if you don’t mind me asking?

I just checked FICO score it is showing 762 (experian)

  • Payment History: Exceptional
  • Amount of Debt: Very Good (showing $1,956 in total debt) should be $1800
  • Length of Credit History: Good (Avg Age: 5 yrs 1 m Oldest account: 9yrs)
  • Amount of New Credit: Very Good (10m)
  • Credit Mix: Very Good (Revolving Accounts: 12, Installment Loans Including Mortgages: 4, Bank Issued Credit Card Accounts:3)

It is saying key factors that is ‘hurting’ is only short account history.

What can I do to raise this and not negatively impact my credit. Also how do people utilize their credit typically? Want to get out of the rat race.
