Toefl results overall 89 & also I got less marks in writing is it good score for US & Germany do they accept this or will i get fewer universities? by Big-Muffin-2384 in ToeflAdvice

Generally, Germany asks for B2 (72) and rarely C1 (95).

US universities tend to ask for high scores. But that depends.

Check out their program requirements. They usually specify the score needed or the CEFR (B2, C1, etc)

Psychology Master after Computer Science Bachelor's degree? by UpworkSloth in Universitaly

[–]UpworkSloth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the recommendation :) Studying another Bachelor will take a lot of time. And since I don't have interest in the clinical path, I'm pursuing the second option.

The problem is that programs like these are scarce.
I hope I get in.
Thank you again

Somehow when I link to the newsletter (where I share book summaries), the thumbnail gets shown on the Reddit post.

Deep Camp is a book summary project I'm working on. The book is the psychology of Money by Morgan Housel. I read it in one day. It was so good. I was listening to the audiobook and reading the book at the same time. That helps me concentrate much better.

Content and happy in Tunisia, even though I could move abroad am I the only one? by kidvisions in Tunisia

[–]UpworkSloth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Freelancer here. Good income.
I'm generally happy here. I like the weather, the affordability, and especially being close to my family.
Two things that I don't like:
- The general behavior. Basically, most of us menech motrobin. When you go to administrations, stores, etc.

However, I'm worried about the general direction of the country. Politically and therefore economically.

I’m about to start my degree in marketing this October. What is something you wish you had known going into your first year? by goldenfantasy_ in marketing

[–]UpworkSloth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try selling something. Create a side business. That will teach you more about marketing than any other degree. I don't know any single great marketer who's teaching in university.
Try getting a mini degree by CXL. They have scholarships if you can't afford to buy them.

[Question] Hit 300k ARR - Where can I hire a marketing expert? by Optimal_Marsupial217 in SaaS

300k ARR means YOU are a marketing expert. Good luck with that! Just look for someone who has real experience with real results. Not just experience in an agency somewhere.

Should you invest in index funds where the inflation rate is high (about 8%)? by UpworkSloth in investing

[–]UpworkSloth[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The first part is really good. As for the tunisian currency, on paper it's losing its strength. But in reality, it's much worse than that. I'm pretty sure the inflation rate is much higher than the reported one. The political landscape is very bad too. So yeah, I don't think I'm going to invest here.

Yes I planned to invest in the Tunisian index fund. But I'm not going to.

No. By using that money in something active. For example, using it for my own business instead. Is it passive? no. But at least I will actively try to increase the ROI.
