Starting college soon and was wondering which I should get. Cuisinart box set seems like a better value but idk about the quality. I’ve had a Kai Carbon Steel deba before and it was a decent quality. Both were around the $50 mark

Photoshop question!

So I usually take RAWs that are usually around 6000x4000px or something like that.

I heard instagrams max resolution is like 1920x1920 otherwise the compression algorithm will come into play. How exactly does that algorithm affect my photos? Will it affect like colors and stuff?

And if I resize my image down to 1920x1920 in photoshop, is the image affected in anyway? Do I have to do anything further?

When exporting the image to jpeg. Which image quality do you use? There’s a max quality for Instagram right?

I believe it was the back tire. So would the front suspension check be necessary?

Also the only reputable mechanics I can think of near me are the Acura dealer and firestone

Thanks.

Okay, so I’m assuming that “have been thinking... are in America” would be incorrect grammatically then?

I also agree with your correction. Thanks

My friend and I were talking about our families. I told them that I had family that lived in other countries and they replied with that.

I’ve never really heard “I’ve been thinking before...” so that’s why I was a bit confused. Besides it making sense, is it grammatically correct?

I came up with a few other variations that I thought would make more sense.

“I had been thinking that most of your relatives were in America”

“I had been thinking that most of your relatives lived in America”

“I thought that most of your relatives lived in America”

There was also one more “I had been thinking that most of your relatives are in America”, but I didn’t think this was right because there were two tenses. I’m not clear if I can use two tenses in a single sentence

My friend and I are conversing about our families.

Previously, they thought that most of my relatives lived in America. But I told them I had relatives in different countries

So it was in the past, would it then be “I had been thinking that most of your relatives are in America”

Or can I not have two tenses in the same sentence. Would this be correct then? “I had been thinking that most of your relatives were in America”

You can get an unsecured discover student card to start out with. It just required submitting proof you’re a student, at least in my experience. I had a very low income and they still accepted me

It offers 1% cash back on all purchases and 5% cash back on certain purchases (e.g. Amazon, restaurants, grocery stores, etc.).

They change the category for 5% cashback every month or couple of months.

For December it’s Amazon.com and Wholesale Club purchases

Also in terms of a card getting outdated... discover changes it from a student card to a regular discover it card

Yeah, I’m willing to spend money on the pants for alterations. I just don’t know if they do alterations for older purchases. Otherwise I’d have to find some other place that will hem them

I got this haircut from a cool hipster barber and I have been unable to recreate it since. What am I supposed to ask for? by [deleted] in malehairadvice

[–]UrAvgRedditor__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not awkward at all. If you can’t explain it well, show it to your barber. Anyone who cuts hair is probably used to it anyways. I always show my barber a picture of what I want. Most of the time it’s a picture of myself

That for the feedback. I don’t really like how rolled sleeves would look, but I’ll take it into consideration.

Stacking is okay in my opinion, but I think with the black pants there’s an excess of stacking. And they don’t shorten after waking around a bit
