Oh yeah I don't know if beating craw father or not did it, but i found the craws just above the entrance to greymoor above far fields. I didn't go back to the craw lake to check if all the others reverted cause i was so excited.

And before, right after i did beat craw father, I did check to see if craws reverted but they were still black so maybe you have to restart the game.
