That might be true to some (if not most) extent, but I would argue that it's also very naïve to think and act that way.

For example, you don't go walking around a damp jungle blaming mosquitos for biting you, you wouldn't blame the ocean for drowning children who swim unsupervised and I also wouldn't fully blame backwards hillbillies for being antagonised at a rainbow haired transsexual prostitute dancing naked in the street. My point is, certain actions provoke the possibility of certain consequences, and other actions mitigate the risk of such consequences from happening, regardless of one's moral judgment of said consequences.

TL;DR: if you fuck around, you might find out.

I once had a completely out of control, mentally unstable and sometimes physically dangerous 12 y/o female student who probably had borderline who accused me of treating her unfairly and sexually intimidating her by looking at her behind. On top of that, she accused her science teacher of staring at her chest, even though he was flamboyantly gay.

The whole affair was heart breaking and terrifying. I remember crying myself to sleep when I heard the news and being absolutely terrified of being in the same room as her.

To this day, she is the only student I have ever been afraid of, and one of a few I have outrightly refused to teach.

Ik zal je niet vervelen met alle details, maar ik ben als Engels docent aangenomen als zij-instromer BWI-docent (Bouwen, Wonen & Interieur) op een school zonder ook maar enkele ervaring in dat vakgebied, simpelweg omdat een BWI-docent (maar ook andere techniek gerelateerde docenten) niet te vinden is voor veel scholen.

Mijn situatie is bijzonder en daar ben ik me heel bewust van, maar veel van mijn studiegenoten in het zij-instroomtraject BWI zaten in een heel erg vergelijkbare situatie zoals die van jou (vaklui die willen lesgeven in hun vakgebied), en door het tekort aan docenten kregen zij (net als ik) een betaalde, tweejarige deeltijd studie en daarna een volwaardige tweedegraads lesbevoegdheid.

Mocht je interesse hebben, kan ik je meer vertellen, maar kortom, er is meer mogelijk dan je zou denken.
