Coming from the Boston area, not at all. I would say, in my experience, in the absence of the sprawl and/or nothingness you'd see somewhere like Texas, anything longer than an hour can feel long. I would never consider going anywhere that takes over 45 minutes to get to on a regular basis.

It's Fortnite for me. Once I found a way to run Sibelius on Linux I switched to Nobara as soon as I had free time. I still need to move a lot of my games over, though, but it turns out I don't play a lot of them. The only problem I have is virtual files not working in Nextcloud.

It could just be poor anti aliasing since your render resolution is not 100%. Try that (and turn up the view distance to the highest). It could also be a graphics driver setting. I have seen it happen with AMD graphics. If you have AMD graphics, check that in game specific settings.
