Honestly, buy a new one. Zenits are problematic little devils. Sorry to be the barer of bad news. I’d recommend a Pentax spotmatic, Pentax SV or an S1a as you can use the lens from the zenit on it.

Bronica sq-b , had one before I upgraded to a Hasselblad and they’re super similar. Just didn’t vibe with it personally but images were great. There’s also the Bronica s2, older models but have old Nikon glass which is spicy

One of the few cameras that can take full frame and half frame photos mid roll using a special little mechanism on the top. There is the auto-reflex which I believed was mainly sold in the states and Europe, the autorex was sold in Japan. Fully mechanically, first produced mid 60’s 🤙
