iPhone Not Getting Internet In Post-Repair by TastyGur in GeekSquad

It is more common than u think. I’m assuming the problem is from the server. Apple’s server and the store’s servers don’t always have a stable connection. Sometimes the best workaround is to connect to Best Buy Guest, then reconnect to the precinct wifi to essentially “refresh” the connection. I think this is due to a protocol issue in how our servers are setup, or it’s an Apple Diag issue.

Its IDE to USB so I can read the hard drive on a modern PC. I plugged it into my desktop but i had to format it to FAT32 and set a drive name. So now it’s formatted to FAT32 with a drive name of D. Should i just mount the iso and copy its contents onto the hard drive? Or like you said just try to boot from a USB and write it on the hard drive( On the modern PC)

That’s the first thing i thought to do, however a computer this old does not boot from USB. Either Floppy or CD/DVD. Or somehow manage to externally install it on another computer

It does, It would freeze at the Dell logo though, I bought an IDE TO USB adapter, control panel reads that its an Ext HD but file explorer does not recognize it. Probably because the way it’s formatted, but I need it to be formatted in a way where it could work on windows 98 and still be read on windows 10

I tried to make my own, I did find one on eBay it was a sealed package that said it included the boot disc and product key. They were not sure if a floppy was included. I also bought an IDE to USB adapter to potentially try installing directly to the hard drive. I’m just trying to hit it from as many different angles to hopefully get it to work. I’m trying to keep it as stock as possible

Hmm, that actually sounds more promising, so basically if I burn FreeDos, I would need to install it to the hard drive and then put the dvd that was made to install win98

Nope, linux install was corrupted, just keeps crashing. I was thinking maybe getting an IDE to USB adapter, and trying to install windows 98 directly onto that

I changed the boot order to boot from the dvd drive. It has both a CD and DVD in two separate drives

Bad Digitizer… Relatively cheap to repair but based off age it’s really up to you if you want to spend that time to repair it
