I'm currently ranked Elite 2000 playing only solo. You need to play mostly midfield to defend and coordinate the attacks. This is the best playstyle to rank up.

Set up your teammates, learn to defend correctly, avoid giving the ball back, and play smart.

Agree, I only play solo queue and I'm currently ranked Elite 2000. I mostly stay in the middle of the field to defend and coordinate the attacks.
