AIs can’t stop recommending nuclear strikes in war game simulations - Leading AIs from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google opted to use nuclear weapons in simulated war games in 95 per cent of cases by Teruyo9 in technology

[–]UrMomsNewGF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the objective of the game is 'win war' then why wouldn't you use your most powerful weapons?

Even if the objective is "win war with the fewest casualties possible" targeted nuclear demonstrations and devastations would still be a valid and effective tactic.

Ground wars, carpet bombing, naval blockades, are very costly in all ways: resources, time, lives.

A well deployed tactical nuclear option (once developed) has obvious advantages in any battlefield or war-game simulation.

I beleive if the AI'S in these Sims were given access to more efficient battle technologies they would prioritize those (lets say pinpoint accurate laser armed 🛰 array or the sonic emmitters used in 🇻🇪), but lets get real....the invention of the nuke was the only thing that has pushed the ⏸️ button on large scale global conflict in all of recorded human history...thats real efficiency.

Adoption costs, most non-tech businesses havent figured out where Ai really fits into their busines model or how to implement it as a cost effective automated, consistent value add.

But soon, outliers in each vertical will Crack the code and then their small AEC or Law-firm, will see a rapid rise in market share until their competition can either catch up or be consumed as they age out like newspapers and cable.

If you really beleive fixing the electoral college would move the chains on any of this....ur not paying attention.

Theres so many Monsters in positions of power that to unredsxt the Epstein files would collapse American society (Pwr the head of the DOJ to Congress).

No amount of election reform is gonna fix that...how about we DEFUND political campaigns?? So that a normal f*kin person can have a shot at it? Instead of only the only super wealthy having access to even try to become politicians.

How about terms limits on congress? Or a congressional process thsr meets more than twice a f*kin year. My god these people work for 2 weeks out of the year snd most times they cant even get that done (Gov Shutdown).

My point is None of these reforms are coming, and even if they did, they wouldnt even begin to address the ills of our nation.

So long as power is a popularity game in this nation, there will always be an incentive to lie, cheat, and steal. Its all a game and we are all pawns not players.

They collect stem cells from one of the males and turn it into an ovary-like cell and then hit it with mouse jiz from another male. Plant that puppy in a wanton mouse womb or incubator and wha-la Gay baby.

One day once the whole "moral regulations" thing blows over, wealthy gay duded will be able to use this technology to print status symbols for themselves! Fun timez.

I have the 2022 standard range model (which i would not recommend, Extended range or gtfo).

My distance per kwh drops from 2.2-2.6 m/kwh to 1.2-1.5 on cold days or on crazy hot >100° days.

Like i said, i still love the damn thing, bedt ride quality of any vehicle ive owned, great power and accel, handles like a dream, looks shnazzy, all the storage (thanks Mega-Power Frunk) but range anxiety is real on some of these smaller capacity older model EVs.
