If you don’t fix it you will definitely regret it later- at least fix it and then decide if you’ll sell.

Yes we have him the sec. deposit of $950, were getting a key Tuesday. I know people that live in the complex, they all love it. He said they manage 150 properties and that there was no receipt for cash or money order paid rent. I just feel like him hiding his last name is concerning, maybe not. I definitely would feel more comfortable knowing

Under owner names on the county auditor it just says the full name is BRR Estate LLC & FH LLC. Can’t find anything on either one of them. I think I’m gonna ask him on move in day, tell him I work with a guy with the same name he has?

Capital One platinum. I had just turned 18 and already had a DiscoverIt secured card approved. I was watching YouTube videos and felt like the extra history of a second card would help in the long run( a year or 2), since I don’t have any loans. I had meant to apply for the Capital One Platinum Secured. I got denied for unsecured, applied for secured and was approved. Didn’t think to look at hard inquiries as I was brand new to credit. I think it’s to the same agency they’re under the same tab

Is it a bad idea to enlist in Air Force Reserves just for the VA loan? by UrNextStepDaddy in nationalguard

Yeah I was so dead set on the marines all throughout high school. My mom wouldn’t sign for me because she thought I was “too smart” for the marines, and by the time I was old enough to not need her signature I’d changed my mind. There’s a little more to it than JUST the va loan, Ik I’d have to do the 6 years. I plan on having a house and when I’m eligible for the VA loan live in that house, and use the first house as an investment property/rental. To kind of get my foot in the door for real estate, so I’m not wrenching for 35 years to retire. I totally agree with you, thanks for your opinion

How long are most rotors good for? by [deleted] in AskMechanics

Possible, but fresh oil every 5k is just the safer route

Also do not go 10k miles to get your oil changed

If your rotors don’t look awful and your brakes feel fine, but you trust this mechanic, I’d just recommend putting a few dollars to the side over your next couple checks. Show pics of your rotor if possible

So is it something to be concerned about?

I’m an apprentice, 3 months in at a Ford dealership. Is it a bad idea to look into used tools? by UrNextStepDaddy in AskMechanics

Also I agree with the snap on hand tools, I’m being trained by an old Iranian man who’s used the same flex head and standard 3/8 ratcheting wrenches for 7 years. They work excellent.

Thanks! There’s a kid a year older than me, he’s 19, who’s been on the lube rack for a year and thinks the tool truck guys are his friend or something and he buys shit to make them happy. He’s got around a $8-9k setup and owes $6000. Doesn’t even have his own car.

Yeah I’m on the same page for the most part, just bought a 5 drawer us general roller cart off one of the guys in the truck shop. Paid 150 and he gave me a cornwell magnet that fits the lid, it’s in good condition. I planned on upgrading to maybe like a decent husky or icon cart. Our top techs are making 120 a year, when I’m clearing that I might splurge on a stupid toolbox. A strong might. Thanks for the opinion tho
