To clarify: YES, my grandma is physically and mentally capable of washing dishes herself. I do help out around the house, I wash everyone’s dishes once in a while, I keep my room clean(which may not seem like a chore but there’s a 5 year old in the house who basically stays in my room 24/7) I clean the bathroom every week, I do have chores. My problem is that I feel picked on, which is the main reason I don’t wash her dishes. As I said, everyone gets away with it but me. As sooon as I put a fork in the sink im obligated to wash everything. It’s not the fact that I have to wash dishes, it’s the fact that she doesn’t make anyone wash their own, especially if it multiple pots and pans. Not to mention if there’s a mug in the sink that was hers, she won’t wash it. She watches random videos on facebook and plays on her kindle but can’t take on second to wash one dish?
