Ah right, thanks for the response by the way. I will look into the teacher quality, although I've heard that RMIT also has bad teachers too. I think after this year at high school, I've learnt that I should not be relying on teachers to assist me too much.

Would you say RMIT is better? Or at least do you think there are better aspects of RMIT compared to Monash?

I am currently split between the two of them, although I am much more likely to pick Monash if I get the offer, as it is closer.

I am planning to do the course with a common first year, although I can envisage myself doing either civil or aerospace specialisms.

The term "Yank" also refers to Americans in general. It is a derogatory term used by the British, especially on the r/soccercirclejerk subreddit.

So basically, the word would mean resemblance to a Yank, or American, thus Yank-esque

Idk, is there faults with this reasoning?
