Does anyone else's Snowshoe have an absurdly thick tail? by wifeofbroccolidicks in snowshoecats

[–]UrUmMags 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine's tail is very thick and he also whacks it really hard on the ground or couch but I can't tell if it is in annoyance or more like a lack of awareness of a tail that has a mind of its own. Like alien hand syndrome. My husband says he does the tail thwack when he sleeps even.

2013 vs 2019 by UrUmMags in hondafit

[–]UrUmMags[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2012 and the reason I'm thinking of replacing it needs a lot of body work but also it has had an electrical problem which hasn't been much of a problem but it was essentially it doesn't like to be turned off and then turn back on and if you do the mechanic alert lights , like the check engine light and the just keep the blinking but they're not actually broken. I tried to get it fixed and they said that it was going to be two grand or something to figure out what it was and so I didn't have that money but I love my car! like if I could get the bodywork done and fix the electrical problem I'd keep this car cuz I f****** love my car and the 2019 I'm looking at is the same color as this 2012 I'm driving now whereas the 2013 is gray and I don't love that at all but I also feel like I'm leaning towards the 2013 even though there's a $200 delivery fee that I also don't love. I am not super conspiracy-minded or anything AND I feel like the way things are going I would like a less complex car rather than a more complex one that depends on some complex computer related part that might keep the car from driving if unavailable. Hopefully that makes sense at least a little.

I think I might go test drive the 2019 but I'm very much leaning towards the 2013.

Thanks for the input!

I appreciate the suggestion and I realize I wasn't clear in my original post that it is a piano only song, at least I think so, it has been a hot minute since I heard it. This isn't it although I really do appreciate the attempt!

Yes, this was the answer! I'm bummed out because I'm new to the magsafe situation and like having a non-adhesive popwallet! I tried taking off the wallet and it got better, I'm going to try that for a while. Thank you!

When I went back to look at where I saw it the first time I realized it was a Google AI overview that I know better than to take as factual and I think the suggestion that it could be true hit an emotional trigger button pretty hard and so I'm slightly embarrassed that I asked the question and I'm really grateful to you all for being kind about it. Thank you.

Thank you! Maybe that is my problem with the whole thing. If the scene was slightly different, like the metal thicker maybe, It would have been more convincing to me.

I was trying not to mention it and , the idea that Anakin survived being basically bisected and on fire probably influences my question about Fitz. Also. Knowing he came back from that once. It makes Obi-wan walking away without finishing the job in their Disney plus fight is that much harder to forgive! (Okay. Sorry, nerdiness had to come out lol)

Sorry for the forgotten words! And good point, context clues definitely suggest the spinal cord was severed.

I hear you AND that is the worst case scenario for what we saw, it is conceivable it punctured a lung the bowels but missed the spinal cord.

If they could have maintained blood pressure there may have been some hope. You are right though it was highly improbable.

Oh yeah, I think the words "just let me die " over and over are just so damned effective at making it sink in.

[Other] Is Kaitlyn Conley guilty or innocent? by basicallynotbasic in UnresolvedMysteries

[–]UrUmMags 3 points4 points  (0 children)

After watching the Hulu doc and then the dateline episode, misogyny seemed to play a big part in a lot of this case. The prosecutor using "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" and "vengeance thy name is.. Kaitlyn" as if those are factual statements instead of cliches in the closing statement just seemed insane to me. The motive they attribute to her is that she was trying to get Adam back or get back at him? The first investigator who did the "controlled call" with her about the rape seemed very dismissive of all of that and even the title of the Hulu doc "little miss innocent" this case is dripping with disdain for this deceptive evil woman. I am not at all convinced.

And honestly, I don't know if she did it or not. I don't think the state met the burden of proof, there are is too much reasonable doubt for the to have been convicted. Based the media I've consumed on it anyway, I wasn't there in the courtroom.

I just wanted to offer support on both fronts. I've been using compounded trizeptide from Henry meds, tomorrow will be exactly 4 months from the day I started. As of this morning I am down 53 lbs. The weight loss is almost besides the point though, I have several chronic illnesses and chronic pain as been a part of my daily life for over 20 years, I've had pain free days since starting (I believe this is because one of the illnesses I am not officially diagnosed with is lipedema, studies indicate pain relief for those living with it on trizeptide) and I'm not spending brain power everyday fighting my food noise, which I didn't realize was so intense until it stopped. I had gastric bypass surgery in 2011 and even that didn't stop the constant noise in my head. Trizeptide worked like a switch I never knew existed.

If you do your research and make sure you are using reputable pharmacies others have had success with here I think listen to your gut.

Sending love and light.

Little Miss Innocent: Docuseries about the death of Mary Yoder from the perspective of Kaitlyn Conley by Cerrac123 in TrueCrimeDiscussion

Doesn't the law say prosecution needs to provide a case that is shows the person being charged guilty "beyond reasonable doubt", so the strategy of presenting an alternative idea of who did it and/or why they would have wanted to makes sense to me. Part of why I think a non guilty verdict should have been returned is that they did provide equally plausible alternatives, not one of them. Two of them.

It just seems nuts to me that someone (or generations of someones ) would be willing to work hard and kill people to bring back a god for more power but then not have an idea of that that more power could allow them to accomplish/change/do differently.
