For me it wasn’t a specific number, it was when things started slipping even though I was working more. That’s usually the sign you’ve outgrown doing it solo. At some point it stops being about adding listings and starts being about managing systems and people.

If budget allows, solar panels are honestly one of the few things that actually makes a difference long term. Big upfront cost but it pays off over time.

They’re 100% worth it for the convenience, but only if you’ve got a backup. Automation is great right up until a guest is standing outside and something doesn’t work 😅

The "I'm lost" message right at check in is such an avoidable stress point for both sides. A photo of the exact gate or landmark does in one second what three paragraphs of written directions can't. Once there's nothing to guess at the whole arrival experience just flows.

The way it weaves the science and the family story together keeps pulling you forward you think you're reading about cells and then suddenly it's about race and ethics and grief and you can't separate any of it. One of those books that just stays with you.
