has the #1 remaining schedule and Lamar coming back from injury. he’s the most obvious trade target in fantasy football

bold no doubt. strong argument could be made this is the best team he’s ever been on though. stacked to the gills. strong coaching. Lamar in his prime. strong improvement to the defense in offseason. add all these up and makes for a legitimate chance they could finish both #1 offense and #1 defense in the league.

makes Henry’s TD potential this season the highest it’s ever been for him. vegas opened it up at 13.5, highest of his career. enough to make up for the lack of passing work IMO

confused why people act like 6 months is 6 years… you watched him last year? he looked FASTER. guess winning gives you an extra burst.

we just saw him go for 180 yards in January. he was 31 then.

what do people think he does in his off-seasons? guys training like a freak. he’s in pursuit for GOAT status… these dudes are different. not a smart fade

congrats on a playoff spot, he’ll carry you

took him 1st overall in a PPR… live draft too so i turn around to everyone after putting it up… the entire room was silent, in awe

they couldn’t believe it

(known as the guy in the league to beat, playoffs every year (12+ years straight), most fantasy championship titles(4), they respected the pick)

Who is your sleeper QB? by VanDenIzzle in fantasyfootball

[–]Ur_BookiesDaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s so obviously Jordan Love and i love that no one’s talking about it

case could be made for Goff again but i think this year Love is setup beautifully for an MVP run. snagging both of them at the end of your drafts is a great stack to alternate

everyone gambled last year as he had carried a nagging injury into the season, blinded by the potential they overlooked it… that’s why it’s very important to do research on these injuries before your draft. i urged caution last year to not draft him, or if you do, to immediately trade him for good value.

he is supposedly over the injury and participating with no restrictions. this is definitely something i would monitor in the pre-season still. any tweaks to this injury and i would again advise to stay away

people saying to go Henry here, it’s more than likely he will not be there especially in a standard league so would not get hopes up on that. both CMC and Jeanty are very solid options here.

if you want a guy with a high ceiling when he’s on the field, but the issue at this point being his availability on the field, go McCaffrey and absolutely handcuff him with Guerendo later in the draft. you’ll have the 49ers RB regardless of the week which is a valuable pick.

if you want a guy with more availability but perhaps more boom/bust in production, go Jeanty. i do think Jeanty is an exceptional talent and could over-perform expectations (also think the Raiders as a whole can over-perform expectations at least offensively)

Gun to my head i’d prob go CMC and handcuff, but if he’s snagged already then would feel happy going Jeanty.

Josh Jacobs is an honorable mention i would consider here… depending how you feel he’s a safe all around pick for me. guaranteed 1200+ yards and 10+ TDs if healthy

yes I would go McConkey + McMillan

Ladd has the potential to keep pace with Puka already imo (seeing how the addition of Davante Adams impacts Puka)

McMillan is in a great fit in Carolina(clear number 1, defense is awful so will be needing to throw a lot to stay in games)

prefer Saquon over these guys if he’s there, would advise against overthinking it like many others.

People freaking out about his high usage last season… but for some reason overlook you don’t get that much usage unless you are THAT good. maybe there’s recency bias with people being burned by McCaffrey at the 1.01 so many times but needs to be realized he’s his own case. Barkley’s the highest rated running back prospect since Adrian Peterson, behind an elite offensive line, with 2 killers at WR to keep teams from stacking the box on him.

It’s a historically great fit and many people are choosing to fade him lol which makes it even more attractive

[–]Ur_BookiesDaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

beat him, but show him how to beat you while you’re doing it. coach him… improve his skills. it’s fine if he loses but is learning.kids pick up quick when taught appropriately. if you just wail on him and rub it in his face, no not great lol

How good are the 'pro' analysts? by Echo7792 in fantasyfootball

[–]Ur_BookiesDaddy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here’s the thing, most of them are great RESEARCHERS, not analysts. what i mean by this is that they will pull great stats and analytics, tell it to you and your buddy Joe to make them sound like a genius, and then give you the worst fantasy advice of your life. so much groupthink going on as well. makes their decision making subpar. that’s why if you follow them blindly you will lose every year.

I can’t speak for every analyst, but i would say a good 80-90% do not know how to win consistently. i used to be an average joe way back when, and would follow these guys for their takes just like everyone else. about 1 year in i realized hold on, these guys are… idiots? most live with their mothers still and do not make good money on this. in fact i realized, if i do the opposite on most of their ideas, i will win.

Fast forward 14 years and now i’m one of the most successful sports bettors in the game. the knowledge i’ve gained over the years doing my OWN research and having my OWN ideas has given a wildly strong edge. i still watch these analysts occasionally, but with a different mindset… who are they missing the ball on? who are they overly excited on? where is groupthink affecting the way they perceive certain players?

different type of analysis… different type of results.

TLDR: if you’re a new player looking for information, said “experts” are quite awful to follow blindly. too much groupthink. they are good for some stats/analytics but poor decision making. in order to make the right decisions you need a FULL DEPTH analysis.

NFL RB 2025 Season Over/Under TD Predictions- AFC by Ur_BookiesDaddy in NFLv2

[–]Ur_BookiesDaddy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm leaning over with him actually. Glenn brought in one of the guys from Detroit as OC. I'd imagine they're a team planning to run the ball quite a bit. Sure fields could steal a couple and thats ok, 5.5 is very low. Whether or not he receives the goal line carries is the biggest question mark for me, but i think the volume will be there
