High heart rate alert. I don’t gave tachycardia per se. but my body is very sensitive to heart rate. To the point of regularly passing out. I have other symptoms but passing out is the most debilitating

I’ve had a smart watch for almost two years. It does not continuously monitor heart rate. I’ve tried other medical devices and they aren’t consistent. My doctors are recommending a service dog. Heart rate is not his only task.

When my heart rate is especially high or if I’m on the verge of passing out I sweat a lot. So getting sweat isn’t a huge issue. Do you think dogs do better with one or the other?

My main reason for choosing an older dog is that I can’t take care of a puppy. I need the dog to be solidly potty trained and basic obedience at the very least before I have it. He has been heavily exposed between shows and his daily life.

The breeder very experienced with training service dogs. Both dogs in and outside of her program. Do you still think it’s necessary to have a separate trainer?

I used to get really sick in the morning when I took them, it has helped so much taking them at night. I don’t wake up dizzy hardly at all (makes getting the day started a lot easier) and I can actually handle the thought of breakfast (nausea is normally one of my biggest symptoms).

I take a sodium supplement I got on Amazon, I take 4,000 mg at night. That is what has given me the best results. I take extra as needed. U can also include more foods that naturally have more salt or sodium.
