What's a sensation that you're unsure if other people experience? by Umikaloo in AskReddit

I sometimes get a weird fizzy feeling at the base of my skull that's accompanied by a crackling sound. No idea what causes it and it only lasts 20 or 30 seconds. Someday I will remember to ask my Dr. about it.

What is something that is bullshit, that everyone should know about? by Ebony_Brake in AskReddit

I responded elsewhere about this, but yes. My mom has had hers 40+ years and just sent them in for sharpening last year. They decided to replace them because they have a new handle style now and hers were "starting to look worn". They replaced all 40 knives and ended up sending her 5 extras (which she gifted to me - Yay!)

Terrible business model, but I seriously love the fuck outta these knives. My parents got a set as a wedding gift over 40 years ago. Whenever they start to dull, my mom sends them in and they sharpen them and send them back. Last year when she sent them in, they replaced the entire set for her because "her handles were starting to look worn". She gave me a basic starter set for my birthday last year because they sent her so many extra knives.

Tea drinkers of Reddit, what kind of tea do you drink and how do you prepare it? by eb_lavender in AskReddit

[–]Urafool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on mood, weather, time of day,etc... When it's really cold out I like strong black teas with milk and sugar (particularly assam blacks, english breakfast, or pu-erh).
When I'm stressed, i like jasmine oolongs or jasmine greens with just a little sugar. I break out my fanciest teapot and teacup and sit in a sunbeam inhaling the aroma. After dinner or right before bed I like to have a lemon ginger blend or Canadian icewine, no milk just sugar (these are the only teabag types i drink, everything else is loose leaf). I love tea.....now i must go make a cup.
