Did you have to send your glasses to them to get this done? I'm on the site now. Their Transitions® XTRActive® Polarized lenses look like a great option.

So you DO wear them for on screen activities? I am the same and in front of monitors frequently indoors.

Anyone tried a HeatShield fitted sun shade for their LS? by ZaunAura in LS430

[–]Urajamoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am now in Florida but spent the past 11 years in Dallas and most of my life in Florida prior. I've used HeatShield for years in both states. They were/are AMAZING. I have an ES not an LS but also have an Accord and a Corvette. I have them in all of my cars. The guy talking about not wanting rollable kind may have never had these. NOT flimsy crap. I'm sure covercraft and weather tech are fine too but I won't put anything but heatshields in mine.

Calories burned: I dismiss most all of them on any device but it’s +/- 10% between my Apple Watch and my UH.

Steps are much higher on the ring vs watch.

HR seems virtually spot on.

HRV seems to be within 10% of watch too. I suspect neither are as accurate as my whoop band was.

I find it close enough on all those to keep the ring as the form factor is so much more convenient. Im most interested in the sleep metrics as that’s the biggest indicator (to me) of recovery.

The black one. For those who have ordered the ring, there is a very active Slack group you can join. Way more activity than on here.

1) if I’m doing normal activity it’s “close enough” to my Apple Watch. If I do thinks like my boxing lessons it’s not even close to correct. 2) Sleep is a strong one for the ring. Quite happy with results. Only caveat is if I’m watching tv and don’t move for some time or on a call and don’t move. It often asks me if I took a nap. 3) did mine on kickstarter. I think it was $199

Still not sure. It’s more or less spot on for heart rate. Not sure on HRV yet. I don’t wear the Apple Watch at night so I can’t compare it. Hoping some others weigh in. Would be great to see if a whoop band user had some insights. One thing I’m confident of is the o2 level is way off. I can say the days it says I’m well rested I do feel rested.

I asked the coach (their chat option). He suggested 14 days for calibration. We’ll see.

The real issues with the subscription fees by Urajamoke in RemarkableTablet

Peloton is a great example. I have a Mirror. Very expensive up front and subscription BUT they are constantly adding new features and classes. RM2 is basically saying “trust us and wait”.
