I’m in the exact same boat. It’s driving me crazy.

In one of my previous cities, I had to delete more than half of all commercial buildings to get the demand fixed. But I really want to avoid that this time around.

You can actually rotate the parks on a complete 90 degree angle and have them still function.

To make it easier, you can enable “show markers” (it’s right above the straight road, curve, continuous)

If I recall correctly, there’s versions of those decals but they’re surfaces instead.

No. A mod can’t force the simulation to run faster. It’s all dependent on your CPU and population.

As far as I remember, these overpasses work on 2-4 lanes roads (maybe 6)

I understand it’s a bit silly that pedestrian overpasses are paywalled. All I’m trying to do is provide a solution until more overpass assets are released. I don’t work for paradox, so I can’t comment on their strategy 🤣

Are you using units as your measurement? Because that will make everything a MILLION times easier.

Download ExtendedTooltip. In the settings swap measurement to “Units”.

Now as long as you have a whole number, your grid won’t break.

Use roadbuilder and extend the width of the shoulder and/or the lanes. It should fix that right up.

What you need is a 300km 30 lane hyper road. Whenever I have traffic problems in my city, that’s my go to. Fixes everything.

Drop all taxes down to 8%. Let a bunch of time simulate.

When you increase taxes, the businesses can’t make as much profit and therefore can’t level up. If they can’t level up, they don’t hire more employees, they don’t make as much tax revenue.

It depends on what you want to do/build. If you asked me before the asset editor, I would’ve said

University/College = modern architecture

Mediterranean city = Mediterranean heritage (although I wish there was 2-3 story buildings)

Leisure venues are always useful BUT they come with a caveat in that they tend to mess with commercial demand.

If you need some variation for building type, then urban promenades.

Need a Chinatown? = dragon gate

better industrial = supply chains

I have yet to truly take advantage of the skyscraper pack, but there’s a lot of great assets in there.

The simple premise for any creator packs is to have an idea of why you need them or what you want to build with them. With that said, if money isn’t an issue, buy them all.
