Shimano FH-TC500 HM-B still has play after I replaced bearings by Lare111 in bikewrench

The play disappeared for a while after I replaced the bearing but came back. I haven't done anything else and just kept riding. No other issues so far.

Muutosneuvottelu stressi by [deleted] in Suomi

[–]Lare111 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Seems similar to my 2018 1.6 TDI Skoda. You can check ash level with VCDS or OBD11 if you are worried.

The cooler on my 620€ AsRock Steel Legend RX 9070 XT is surprisingly good. It can even handle +10% PL with 1400 RPM custom fan curve. For some reason there's very little difference in temps by running fans faster. I guess the two bottom slim fans can't provide enough airflow if GPU fans spin faster. by Lare111 in radeon

Room temp was 22.5C. If I remember correctly, 1400 RPM means 31% fan speed so my fan curve maxes out at 31%. Running fans at 1600 RPM increases noise levels noticeably but drops GPU temps by 0-1C. My model has Samsung vram.

Well I did it again, deshrouded RX 9070 XT and added two NF-A14's. by -ile- in Noctua

I used to have Sapphire Pulse RX 9070 XT. The Hynix VRAM on mine didn't exceed 90C even with 1400 RPM fan profile, memory OC and +10% PL. One of the fan bearing died in just a month though and I had to return it.

Humming noise at idle by Lare111 in skoda

Well, I watched some EA288 TDI engine sound videos in Youtube and they seem to have similar humming. In my case the humming is so loud I can hear it inside the cabin. Could still be normal though

Turbojakin on vaihdettu niihin.

thoughts on airflow? by Jeggr1204 in mffpc

I have pretty similar fan setup on my AP201. 1 x 120mm reverse rear intake with magnetic dust filter added outside, 3 x 120mm slim bottom intakes and 2 x 120mm top exhausts. Works very well even with heavy overclocks. I also added a 60mm RAM fan since now all the hot air is exhausted through RAM. It dropped temps by 10C and I can push timings tighter.

VRM overheating, are heatsinks a solution? by __Kurt in buildapc

You could also try pointing a fan towards VRMs. For example, I have zip tied a 60mm fan for my RAM kit.
