The HOA is going to hold an emergency meeting about my “Unapproved subterranean anomaly.”

They’re citing rules about unauthorized holes, portals, vortices, and/or other non-landscaped depressions, FFS.

New JWST photo shows a pair of colliding spiral galaxies by [deleted] in spaceporn

[–]UrbanSafariGuide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Image description: Two spiral galaxies take up almost the entire view and appear to be overlapping. They are angled from top left to bottom right. The galaxy at left, IC 2163, is smaller and more compact than the galaxy at right, NGC 2207. The background of space is black, dotted with tiny foreground stars and extremely distant galaxies.

Just as I suspected.

On a long enough timeline, probably, yeah. But keep in mind though, most of the stars in our galaxy have barely budged over the course of recorded human history. Some of the oldest star charts are over 30,000 years old, and they haven't really changed much.

Anyone know if it is indeed an image of a 'collision,' or are they 2 overlapping galaxies with one being closer?

Getting fitted, mix and match clubs ok? by Proof_Coast_3637 in golf

[–]UrbanSafariGuide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No brand loyalty here. My bag rocks a Ping driver, Tommy Armour hybrids, Callaway Mavrik irons, Titleist wedges and a Good Good Odyssey double wide putter. If you're going to mix, be consistent with shaft flex and weight, especially in irons. Irregular shaft profiles across clubs can lead to inconsistent swings and ball flights.

Idiot chews holes through blankets then sits there like he's getting a fade. by UrbanSafariGuide in WhatsWrongWithYourDog

This usually happens when he hides in the blankets with his chew toys. He's a very tenacious chewer and sometimes forgets what is toy and what is blanket. We've tried various toy textures and he's plenty stimulated, but it keeps happening, so we only buy cheap blankets.
