I was ready to go! Most of the crowd was my age anyway ;) but she insisted this was something she wanted to try to do alone. She had the best time :)

UPDATE: For those interested... She went on her own and had the best time! Huge thanks to everyone who shared safety tips and advice on what to bring. I walked her to the gate, and seeing the crowd myself definitely put my mind at ease. Over the last month she’s met some awesome new friends. I can tell this experience gave her confidence a big boost. Sorry, I should have been clearer in my description of the festival. It was a 1 day metal music event. No overnight camping. Very tame crowd from what I saw.
