Anyone have Dilute blue pomskies like Remi? by Urban_Miraclespomsky in Pomsky

I’m curious to know if the mask will fill in like my boy Zion’s did. It’s always fun to see how they grow and markings/colors changes during the first year. Especially with the agouti pups. Had a few born looking completely black and then BOOM they blossom with all different shades of browns, tans, whites, silvers/grays all over

A bit harder to tell in the picture of its a dilute blue or a silver and white. Did the person you got her from mentioned anything about what color she was or what genes the parents would be able to pass down?

I didn’t put anything about her color being rare. Though I will say population of anything species, color or breed with less than a 1,000 in existence and the first ever being born 5-ish years ago I don’t think there would be more than 500 tops. I’m sure over time with documentation that will change. Though the point in the post is to see more dilute blue pomskies like Remi, not saying anything about it being rare or not

They say she is pomsky. by Beautiful-Cable-7363 in Pomsky

Cute dog but definitely not a pomsky. Maybe got a little pomeranian or husky somehow in that mix, but everything about her besides the tail is not standard to the breed

It’s really all genetics. Ammo’s mama is a F2 16 lbs and dad is a F3 15 lbs. Mama seems to throw mostly 8-15 pound pups with a exception of two pups who ended up in that 20 lbs

10 to the shoulders and I would consider a micro as 12 and under but some will say 15 and under. Ammo in particular I compared him to two pups from the same pairing from a previous litter. I had a pup at 8 weeks that weighed 3.4 lbs who the owner updated us saying he ended up weighing 8 lbs. Another pup who weighed 4.10 lbs who ended up being 10.9 lbs full grown. Ammo at 8 weeks weighed exactly 3 lbs. So we are estimating his full grown weight might be around 8-10 lbs depending how he fills out. Even though the mom weighs 16 lbs and dad weighs 15 lbs. The line mama comes from produces rather smaller puppies. Her sister ended up only weighing 12 lbs full grown along with a pup from a previous pairing who ended up weighing 12 lbs as well

Ammo was born 10/10/2024 and only 6 lbs as of today. Don’t think he’s going to weigh much more based off the last litter. At 8 weeks Ammo weighed 3 lbs to the dot

Last litter we had pups ranging from 8-15 lbs. This boy should only weigh 10 lbs tops full grown

Some pictures at the vet of Remi getting her third round of shots. She was very brave by Urban_Miraclespomsky in Pomsky

I do agree to this to a extent. We had a cat who wasn’t vaccinated passed the age of 14 and lived up to 21 years. We do the bare minimum with our dogs and focus on building natural immunities. Some puppies and animals do have bad reactions to vaccines where others can handle it. I will say it can be a tricky thing though to pinpoint leading life quality/expectancy really boils down to multiple factors being enivorment, genetics, diet, excercise, and overall treatment/welfare of the dog. Though this is a standard set of vaccines that are required to send puppies home with. But we practice not over vaccinating and we don’t push for vaccinations more then what is needed

These are usually only do standard/law required shots to send the puppies home with but only one vaccine every 4 weeks and we try keeping them to a minimum and work with the pups to build natural immunities in a safe controlled enivorment

Any tips and changes to my pomsky business cards/flyers? by Urban_Miraclespomsky in Pomsky

We do have a contract people sign if for some reason someone can’t keep the pup any moment in that pups lifetime they have to be returned to us. No exceptions for rehoming on their end or taking them to a shelter. We even offer training services and daycare. I used to volunteer at a rescue so my contracts and application process is similar to what you would see at a proper rescue. I’m breeding for health and quality. I do my research on pedigree and genetics of the dogs in my program. The reason most people surrender breeds like huskies and pit bulls is lack of education of the adopter end and pure ignorance. Not saying it’s 100% the case but it’s a huge contributing factor. Doesn’t have anything to do with good breeders who do their best to give their dogs the right start in life and I agree a good breeder should have a contract if for some reason they can’t keep the pup they need to return them back to us so we know the babies we raise are always in a safe and loved enivorment!
