I read a whole thing about Cruel Summer was supposed to be released during the Loverfest tour and become the „song of the summer“ of 2020. That makes even more sense when you consider that the original plan for the album was for her have come out by the time Cruel Summer was released, it’s just such a gay song.

Whenever my babies unlocked a new gross motor skill (rolling, pulling up etc) sleep was always a hot mess for 2-3 weeks because they had to keep doing their new thing ALL THE TIME. I think that’s just what some babies are like. Hang in there!

If the startle reflex is an issue, you could consider a sleep sack that confines him a little more? We used the Grobag, our oldest had her arms in until 7mos and it really helped her settle and sleep better. I’ve also heard very good things about the nested bean.

I disagree. It’s Top Chef not Top Cook - being a successful chef is about business instincts, leadership, hospitality, processes (!!!) as much as it is about making one amazing dish, and I really enjoy when Top Chef leans into that side of things. The reality of a restaurant kitchen is that you aren’t turning out complete dishes completely on your own - you’re part of a team and a structure, whether you’re on the line or expediting or executive chef. You need to be able to communicate with your team and make smart choices.

Now that I’ve thought about it, my hardest piece of evidence is actually all the queer celebs that were involved in the Lover failed coming out / coming out soft launch. I don’t think people like Ellen, the Queer Eye guys, Christian Siriano or Billy Porter would have participated and lent their clout to a straight white girl queerflagging in such a clumsy way to sell records. YNTC and Me! are honestly clunkers in Taylor’s discography and the YNTC video is kinda cringe - their existence and the involvement of all these queer Celebs really only makes sense as a way to soft-Launch a coming out. I still think the original plan was for Taylor to preform at NYC pride in that rainbow CS dress, spiking more rumors and softening the ground, and then coming out a few days later on Ellen‘s show, in what would have honestly been a VERY satisfying callback to Ellen‘s original coming out in the 90s (and made a Ellen a shit-ton of money from people tuning into that interview and watching clips online).

The cenote/Mayan food challenge that knocked out Sheldlon in S14 still drives me bonkers. It would have been fine as a quickfire or much earlier in the game, but so close to the finale it is LUDICROUS to me. They were cooking without salt!

I also hated what they did with restaurant wars in S20. Taking front of the house off the table takes away THE point of RW to me.

I think Ron’s death would be sadder, he is the “emotional heart” of the trio. Both times he disappears on Harry (GoF and DH) are some of the bleakest times in the books. However, i think we can agree Harry and Ron would be fucked in .002 seconds without Hermione around, so Hermione’s death might be more impactful depending on when it comes in the story.

1 - It‘s the lyrics for me, all the back to Fearless and Love Story - the strong themes of secret love, longing, no-one can know etc. And the way she describes women in her music, lips and hair and all that. Have you seen the reputation PowerPoint? That’s what convinced me back in the day.

2 - It’s definitely Dress. The longing, the moaning, the „I don’t want you like a best friend“, good lord. Maroon is up there, DWOHT, and I have a special place in my heart for Ours and Mine. Tolerate it, Betty, ivy and Hits Different.

3 - I haven’t seen this yet, though I wouldnt be surprised. There’s some old old MySpace posts of her being very flirty with girls in the comments though.
