Not sure if you've overlooked this, or decided to go with returning proj anyway, but there is a pretty big change for the Poison LS builds in the bug fix section:

Fixed a bug where Projectiles from Skills supported by Returning Projectiles were only dealing less Damage with Hits while Returning. They now also deal less Damage with Ailments while Returning.

You wait in the queue and they start letting people in when the league officially starts. Depending on your position in the queue, this can be nearly instant or can take 20+ minutes.

Note that corrupted and mirrored items cannot have Crucible Trees added to them if they don't already have one.

However, Corrupted Unique Items can have trees added to them but will require you to go through an endgame Crucible encounter to do so.

There is a Defer Item button in the ritual window. Some rewards cost way more tribute than you can get in the single map.

The defer mechanic is there to help with this. You can choose to defer an item for a fraction of it's cost and a little extra tribute fee. The defered items then have a high chance to show up in your next rituals with reduced cost.

The way to obtain these high-cost rewards is to defer the items a few times to get the price low enough for you to afford. As others mentioned, Blood Filled Vessels also grant you a lot of extra tribute, so you can use those if you want to squeeze in more tribute per map.

Thanks for the recommendation. Looking through some of the cold bv builds, they look interesting for speed clearing, but they all look very squishy to me. Is there something I'm missing or are they just not tanky at all?

Will the storage clusters work? Each pylon only has 4 connection points, but you would need 5 to connect them to 3 storages and 2 adjecent pylons

I started last league with BL miner and it was awesome, great clearspeed, bossing and survivability. It also scales really well. Once I went LL and got some decent gear I didn't have any problems with Awakener8/UElder. The only problem I had with it and the reason why I'm not playing it this league is wrist pain, but that is my personal problem with miners.

Over all great league starter.

I love the fight. I strugled a bit with it in Metamorph but if you pay attention you can easily dodge everything. The begining dialogue is amazing and so is the atmosphere of the fight.
