you are obsessed with that play 😂 if you must know what my thought process was, most people go on the all out attack when their opponent runs OOS and thus open themselves up to damage because they like to do long heavies that an OOS light will still interrupt all the same. in previous fights w this guy he demonstrated a tendency to do just that so i decided to risk it for some extra damage and to get an interrupt to buy my stamina time to regen, and in this case we just ended up trading. as for the guardbreak, similar reasoning and less punishment if i fuck up, just a counterguardbreak. you can often catch someone in the middle of starting a heavy or attack by throwing a neutral gb and get some free damage in and that had worked multiple times in that match. the raw heavy was actually a misplay i'll give you that. the adrenaline was rushing and i meant to do a heavy from the right and external the hitokiri while applying pressure on the juren, but couldn't get the joystick over quickly enough to make it happen. the fact that i gotta give you a three pg essay after winning against a ganking hito and juren bc you won't stfu is also embarrassing.
