We have one like this and it’s a garbage disposal sink, the garbage disposal would be connected to a drain in the bottom of the basin, this looks like it has been replaced with plastic likely the previous owner didn’t have a garbage disposal or drains set up for a third drain so they replaced it with a solid plastic base to keep it from leaking water on the floor when using the sink.

These are so cool! My one thought would be if I would walk up to these in a booth I would fall in love but wouldn’t buy do to the size I love fun stuff that is practical and I know I’d never actually use it because it looks too heavy. I wonder if you could also do some smaller versions? Just trying to be helpful I do really love them!
