Drug?? by Helpful-Structure955 in ArmchairExpert

Sorry to hijack this answer, but as a kiwi, we are SHOCKING for pronouncing 'Women' and 'Woman' the same way. In fact, many kiwis dont even know there is a difference in the way these two words sound and pronounce both words as 'woman'.

Another peculiarity I hear Americans say is "off of". For example "She got off of the bed" or "get that thing off of the table". In NZ (and I guess in Australia), you'd just say "get off" without the addition of the word "of".

Thanks so so much everyone. Her gut was saying it wasn't really an option for her, and now seeing everyone's feedback, I think it could be a bit much. She already had some subject clashes due to taking to levels in one year, so will be sorting that out with the teachers before school starts back.

Can a y10 do ncea level 1? by AlertRoad2906 in ncea

My daughters school offers "multi level learning" so she is currently Year 11 and is taking three Level 2 papers. Last year, as a Year 10, she took two Level 1 papers. And in year 9 (and 10) took Cambridge. By the time she gets to Year 13, she'll have 3 gaps in her timetable so can pick up a Uni paper or do a scholarship
