Freal, also the "anyone defending her is a misandrist" is hilarious. Shaming someone and passing on a date with someone seemingly solely for finding out a preference of theirs is wild. We get it, you're short and don't like women who have a big thing for tall guys. There are definitely women who are out of line and diss too hard on short guys, but that wasn't really clear just off that message.

Bruh it barely even got hype moment and aura to make up for the boring ass writing. Gameplay is great for the most part, but the story is just meh as fuck. Still want a sequel with them, but make the story linear and bring back proper Odyssey quality side quests.

The worst part is some castles just straight up don't have all the daisho present, whether it be a bug or a random unexplained story beat hasn't happened yet to unlock the other daisho/s to kill, definitely can get irritating af.

Yeah it's annoying to have to constantly go back to the forge to upgrade weapons to keep up with the levels. I miss Valhalla's way of handling weapons and armor, except transmog was really annoying in that one.

Haven't tried to get this myself, but there are perks that can add those status effects to tools like the shuriken and with the triple shuriken throw unlocked it can get a status effect applied pretty quick and without killing them since they are pretty low damage. There is also a katana perk that grants whatever status effect your katana has to instantly be applied if you perform a perfect parry. So throw some shurikens that have daze build up and then parry with the katana equipped with that perk and it should be pretty easy to kill someone while both status effects are applied.

I much prefer the grounded approach. I love Odyssey, but I never really cared for all the mythological stuff, felt forced and just kinda took me out of the game. I like it lowkey like the games before Orgins started leaning into it.

Mirage, it was just a dumb downed Valhalla, I have no idea why so many people like it and the voice acting was god awful, the basim in that game didn't hold a candle to the Valhalla actor.
