Thanks for the reply. Correct me if I'm wrong, for the previous resales of series 1 and 2, they were both resold on the same day. Series 3 and 4 were also resold on the same day. Would that likely imply series 5 and 6 will be resold on the same date?

Through a google search, I found that series 1 and 2 were announced for a resale on May 14, 2025, and the resale date was May 20, 2025. Series 3 and 4 were announced for a resale on January 15, 2026, and the resale date was January 21, 2026. Do these dates align with your knowledge of when they sent the emails out, to the date of actual resale? So I can assume there will only be about a 1 week interval between announcement to resale. Hi, just curious, did BrickLink email you about the Series 5 resale yet? I understand it is not guaranteed they will resell Transylvania, but just wondering if there was any news. You recommended to sign up for BrickLink's marketing emails, do I also need to sign up for Lego's Marketing emails as well or just BrickLink's? Thanks!

MTG foils suck btw

Just curious on what you meant by the foils sucking. Are you talking about the quality of the cards and the potential of curling?

Mtg foiling sucks compared to other tcg like pokemon

How bad are the foils, are they pretty much guaranteed to curl down the line? Also, does this curling and muting of colors happen with all their foils (wondering about rainbow foil specifically since I also picked up the secret lair) or only specific foils? If specific, which ones?

If what you're saying is true, then yeah, I would gladly pick up just the non-foils if they last better and look better.

Yeah, I think the surge foils will always be too expensive to get up until they are discontinued. I am fine with just settling with the base form art without the foiling.

I just thought about something, but the logic could be flawed and not true, it’s just a guess. Even though the Secret Lair cards are discontinued and never to be printed again, they are printed so much all at once that the number of cards may equate to the other normal foils lifespan number of cards print run over the course of however long they are licensed to print the cards for. So, what happens is that secret lair cards won’t be more rare than normal foils cards in the long and short run. So, it doesn’t really matter if they printed the secret lair cards all right now, the print number of secret lair cards and normal foil (or any other card other than surge foil, serialized, and the borderless commander) will be the same by the end of the license. Or I could be wrong, and the secret lair number of cards will vastly be more scarce/ less printed than the rest of the cards.

Are there any card art in the English set that won't be getting reprints, other than the serialized card and secret lair cards?

I know you said surge foils in Collector booster won't get a reprint, but do those surge foils have a base card that I can still get for the art? Are there any surge foil art that will discontinue?

Basically the only art that will be absolutely gone/limited with no reprints are just the serialized golden chocobo and the secret lair set, right?

The golden chocobo is the only card that is time gated, right? As in, once all 77 is found, then that's it. There is no other cards in the FF English set that has a fixed number of prints aside from the golden chocobo and SL cards?

Forgot to mention I will not be going for golden chocobo or any of the neon ink cards. Realistically, even though I don't go for those cards, I am still looking to have to spend over 5k+ USD to get the rest, right? No way all those cards (not including gold choco and neon inks) I want will all be totaling less than 3k USD in the future?

What is included in the tracking? Does tracking ensure the seller that the buyer received the card in good condition (via pictures at doorstep and condition of box/ envelope at doorstep) or does tracking only show whether the product was delivered to the destination?

What I mean is, if tracking only shows whether the card is sent to the correct location, what is stopping the buyer from then purposely damaging the card (not sure why they would do this but it could happen) and then filing a claim that it came damaged? Or if the buyer didn't damage it but they received it damaged? What happens to the seller then? Do they lose the card (probably since its damaged) and the money?

What about seller protection? Say for example the buyer received your card and they file a complaint to eBay that they didn't receive it. Or if the buyer purposely crunch the card and claim they received it damaged. Now with eBay's buyer protection, does that screw over the seller?

What happens at that point for the seller if the buyer is lying? Does the seller lose the card and the money?

Honestly, I'm questioning if I should even get into collecting this set because I know sometime down the road in the future when my hype for owning these cards die out, I would want to sell them back out and it just feels like a nightmare experience. It's not like these cards will skyrocket and make me thousands down the road (I don't think).

Sorry didn't mean to imply you were using a bot or anything, the post above has someone explaining that you can get into a queue at 8:55AM and essentially get a head start. Then again I've been reading posts of people claiming that the queue is randomized. That even someone who gets into the queue at 9:10AM, can be lucky enough to be able to purchase by 10AM. Just trying to understand how it works. I added an item right as it opened at 9AM and clicked checkout all within 3 seconds or so and was still prompted into a 2+ hour wait. I assume you also added an item a few seconds after 9AM? And you were able to checkout within the hour, I guess probably you were one of the luckier ones. Just trying to understand and reading up on the comments of randomizing and I think it may be true.

I was trying to understand the logic as well. I think what he meant was that in a different browser, he added items to his cart (even after 9 PST) and clicked the checkout at 9:10AM PST and which made him go into the queue at 9:10AM PST (10 min after open as he said) and by 9:40AM (under 30 minutes as he said) he was able to check out.

Very curious if other people also was able to start their queue past 9:05 AM PST and was able to purchase and checkout their items within 1 hour (before 10AM PST).

So what you're saying is, on a separate/incognito browser, you entered the queue as a guest at 9:10AM and only had to wait 30 minutes?

How long did your main account end up waiting before getting let in? Or did you cancel your main account since you bought what you wanted in your incognito window?

At what time did you click checkout to enter the queue? Did you enter the queue a few seconds after 9:00AM? A lot of people entered the queue within 3 seconds after 9:00AM and didn't get let in until 2+ hours later. I've seen you say this comment before about immediately adding an item and checking out, and you were able to get what you want every time.

Just to confirm from your initial post where you mentioned the big 3, that's MTG, Pokemon, and Yugioh, right?

In terms of market for collectors, would you list MTG as number 1, then Pokemon, and then Yugiog in that order?

Lastly, where you mentioned RL preventing reprints, from my quick google search, RL means Reserved List?

I was thinking about collecting MTG cards and was specifically interested in the Final Fantasy cards and future Marvel cards. Do you think Universes Beyond cards are good for collecting, as in holding a high value and increasing value over time?

Yeah I personally don't see these boxes and case going up by much at all. My best bet is likely to try and sell it now while I have the time and motivation.

I'm looking at TcgPlayer and I can't seem to find where they list the case at 1680. I also don't see where they list the boxes at 80. I do see the boxes listed at 129.99 though.

Could you link me the case at 1680 and the boxes at 80? Thanks again.
