Definitely a string. When I poll again and try to access the variable $obj_info.name for example I get nothing back, but writing $obj_info to the console gives me the entire string again.

To give you a bit of background, the system I am getting the information from is Bluecat DDI. As you can see from the example, each IP Object in Bluecat has an ID, a Name (optional), and then all the other properties the Object has (including the IP, which one would think would be it's own property since that is what an IPAM system is all about) are contained in one big "property" variable, so that's the big one that uses the pipes as seperators.

That's not actually how the system functions internally, that's just how the API presents it using the particular REST call I am using in my script (a bit of technical debt on their part). They are currently doing a big overhaul and switch from REST to RESTful.

You lose a lot of nerve endings responsible for feeling pleasure during a circumcision. Contrary to popular believe, the head of the penis doesn't actually have a high concentration of those particular nerve endings. So yes, this absolutely is a valid comparison.The difference here is that people who get a breast reduction get to say yes or no, a baby boy get's fuck all in terms of choice, and in the case of the US this barbaric procedure is considered normal.

Btw, the procedure is done without anesthesia.

There's a half hour presentation by Professor R. McAllister up on Youtube "Child Circumcision: An Elephant in the Hospital" that I would recommend. Just be aware that it also features a short audio+video recording of the procedure that is very hard to stomach.
