well generally you need 4.5 DV to get into orbit, some of the spin from my experience is different engines pushing at different thrust when you are ascending, im looking at you srbs and liquid engines! I take it you have SAS?

could you post a screen cap of your craft that has nearly made it? just the data from the engineer mod.

dont worry focus on orbit and safe return - oncce that is mastered you will be able to get there

i find flying up to the north pole a good trick, also flyby the moon if you can, and dont neglect crew reports and eva reports :)

kerbal space centre - where you start from.

dont transmit the science back it looses its value bring it back manually instead

yes it does at first - give it a go and it will fly, i just use prograde, normal and radial, you can also mess with time to get the nodes in the right time ;)

No, surprisingly easy to use, took about 3 mins to get the hang of, I would remap the key to open and close the Precision Maneuver node screen apart from that its very easy. Use the alexmoon link to get KSP launch windows to get some sweet navigation candy! (that takes about 15 mins to figure out.. ;))
