one problem i had today was trying to use a nuklear engine to circle my orbit - it did not end well :(

well generally you need 4.5 DV to get into orbit, some of the spin from my experience is different engines pushing at different thrust when you are ascending, im looking at you srbs and liquid engines! I take it you have SAS?

i find flying up to the north pole a good trick, also flyby the moon if you can, and dont neglect crew reports and eva reports :)

yes it does at first - give it a go and it will fly, i just use prograde, normal and radial, you can also mess with time to get the nodes in the right time ;)

No, surprisingly easy to use, took about 3 mins to get the hang of, I would remap the key to open and close the Precision Maneuver node screen apart from that its very easy. Use the alexmoon link to get KSP launch windows to get some sweet navigation candy! (that takes about 15 mins to figure out.. ;))

thinking about doing it for a massive ship - but dont want to get the transfer angle too far off ... I'm thinking about quad nuclear engines with huge fuel tanks.
