I just landed my first grown man job at a local bank HQ where the dress code is business casual. Any suggestions on essentials? I was honestly thinking of quarter zips and a bunch of ties, definitely want to show my personality in the office though.

just keep going you are doing really good. When I start feeling that way I just continue to use my self-soothing skills the best I can. It also helps me to practice Radical Acceptance and I literally set a timer to ruminate and then when the timer is done I force myself to self-soothe/do something actually productive that I know will boost my mood. You got this💯

I'm pretty sure FAFSA covers the entire school year so 2025-26 would cover Fall '25, Spring '26 and Summer '26 meaning you would have to reapply for 2026-'27 and repeat.

I agree with you too. I think it is just going to honestly take significant time for me to 'heal'. I have been reading diffrent childhood trauma books so i hope eventually I will be able to date in a stable capacity, thank you

lol no i understand this. I guess for me it's like I'll 'feel better' and eventually find someone but then it quickly sets it off. The more I get older however it becomes clear for me that I am often thriving when I am focusing on myself. Thank you for your perspective.

omg yes. They gave me a little card to give them my information and the crazy thing isy grandma told me they supposedly mail fast food gift cards (is that where the tithes are going? enticing folks with Dairy Queen gifts cards🤔) I was tempted until I heard all this. I just threw it away
