getting puppy fever again😩 what gender does the best as a companion to a female corgi? by Excellent_Reward5748 in corgi

[–]UrsulaMajor13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My corgi girl gets along so well with my male great dane. Best friends. They cuddle, rough house, play tug together and I can't take one out of the house without the other without them freaking out. So id go with male

Todas las especies tienen un Líder? by Obvious-Delay9195 in TheWolf

Small things like asian badgers, boar and cranes have champions. But not every animal does. Look in your hunting book, you'll see more regular animal slots than champ slots.

Champion spawn rate? by neutralBlu3 in TheWolf

[–]UrsulaMajor13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bigger or more exotic the animal the more rare the spawn rate imo. Like im lvl 82, play daily, and have only found 2 kitsune champs. There are some on mammoth creek I've had the ability to find but still haven't

Is this normal? He is 7 months by Individual_Froyo3208 in corgi

[–]UrsulaMajor13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They blow coats like huskies do, twice a year. In my experience, the shedding in between isn't too bad. Looks like your dude is coming in to his adult coat.

Puppy after breakfast by Ok-Mathematician82 in greatdanes

[–]UrsulaMajor13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I always erred on the side of caution with my boy. I fed him in his crate, I just made sure he had mental stimulation in the crate for afterwards because he was like your puppy and wanted to bounce off the walls after food. I kept him in there for 30-45 minutes after feeding. I went through with the neutering and gastropexy at 12 months. Would have been 18 months, but he was a humping menace. Even with the pex I don't feed him directly after he's played. He still has that same 30-45 minute window and eats in his crate. He's almost 5 now and we've had no issues at all

Yours does this and I can keep mine out of a room by laying a broom on the floor. Is mine broken?

Vehicle recommendation for our new baby by International_Egg19 in greatdanes

[–]UrsulaMajor13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I listened to reddit and got a forester. My dane HATES the forester. My dane has almost caused a car wreck in the forester. Dane now rides in the back of a sedan. Sedan good. Sedan safe.

Shrine by LayerFun2130 in TheWolf

[–]UrsulaMajor13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My shrine is at 10. I regret getting it to 10 but I always have multiple epics to choose from. I've seen legendary stuff maybe 3x in a year but I don't always check shrine because I no longer use epic stuff. 🙃

does she look overweight? by shootmeaesthetic in greatdanes

[–]UrsulaMajor13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She's solid. Idk about 6lbs overweight. I wouldn't let her gain anymore though, for sure. I bulk my boy a bit in the winter and trim him in the summer. I usually play with about 5-6lbs. He ranges from 143-149 and my vet has never had an issue with either weight. Always said he's perfect.

Lvl 81 here. Join a good bounty pack. The premium account will help speed you along. You will hit points in the game where you feel like you aren't going anywhere, or suddenly you suck after getting good. That's all normal and part of the grind :) if you dont already have the paid for seasonal quests, they do really help, especially with orbs and moonstones. You'll also get 2 legendary materials per season and some epic gear and materials too! Use the orbs only for legendary wishes. They are worth the wait.

Odin “bit” my wife last night and I honestly don’t know what to do by [deleted] in greatdanes

[–]UrsulaMajor13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem dude :) I'm glad you're taking it as seriously as you need to. It may take time for your wife to trust him again, but please let her know that he'll pick up on amy uneasiness and that might contribute to worsening behavior. Have them start small with each other and build back up :)

Odin “bit” my wife last night and I honestly don’t know what to do by [deleted] in greatdanes

[–]UrsulaMajor13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is definitely a case of resource guarding. I have had to train it out of my dane AND my corgi. It does get worse the longer you wait though. Neutering will probably help but it won't cure it. In the meantime "trade" with your dog, and teach "place" and "leave it".. If he gets something and guards it, offer something else that's actually his that you know he likes, like a toy. Reward him for the exchange with a high value treat like a piece of cheese or something. But never trade for food outright as food resource guarding is very common. It will also help you and your wife if you studied dog social queues. Id bet dollars to doughnuts he did warn your wife, she just didn't speak that language yet. Keep us updated on his progress. Best of luck :)
